Sun does not like others but the library is very nice. Now why is Angel looking at him like that?

Sun was expressionless as he listened to all the drivel being said. They had been out for half an hour and there was already a crowd gathering around. He vacantly looked in the distance, waiting for this new torture to be over.
He was glad he was being held at least but just who had he been stuck with? He swore if he ever met Dream again he would make their life hell.
It didn't help that all the positivity was grating against his senses making him twitch in discomfort. Weirdly this new Dream seemed to care about this and soon moved them away from the crowds.
Angel moved further away from the town and crooned at Sun, when he felt them curl further into him. When he felt them flinch he moved his skull towards a human, glaring them into submission. It seems this place just wouldn't do for what he wanted.
He casually opened a portal to a quiet AU, deciding that this hadn't been the best plan.
He placed Sun on the ground, analysing how they had relaxed as soon as they had arrived here. He didn't particularly like the place, as there was no one here to gain energy from. This variant just kept getting more confusing the longer he knew them.
He would still need to test them, of course. He wanted to see what type of Dream they were. Were they self righteous or perhaps apathetic to life around them. He had met so many types but learning about more was always thrilling. Such fun toys to play with~.
"Sun. Would you like to know how I got my wings?"
The other felt curious and tilted their skull towards him, eagerly waiting for the story. He always liked having an eager audience and it made it much easier to tell the tale of that time.
When he was done he observed their reaction, waiting to see what they would say. He could see how thoughtful they were and was on edge, excited to see their reaction.
"So, if I ate more apples I would get wings?"
Angel let out a shocked laugh at the question, trying to contain the absurdity their question caused him. When he calmed down he followed their gaze, seeing them land on his wings.
"Do you like them?~"
He flared them out, making sure his feathers caught the sun light.
"Pretty.."
Angel's smirk disappeared and he was shocked at the genuine compliment. He sensed no greed or want, just pure awe at seeing something they liked.
He stood in silence as the other started wondering about, feeling in a daze at this weird Dream.

Sun felt much better after a few days to recover from whatever Angel had done to him. He was also pleased that he was allowed to go anywhere he wanted. Of course he was never truly alone, as he could sense that Angel was following him.
He didn't mind that much as at least they were pretending to give him privacy...he really needs to check his mental state at some point.
Today he decided to do some reading in the massive library. It was even bigger than Nightmares, which he didn't think was possible. Of course the reading part was a bit of a struggle and after ten minutes staring at a word he huffed in frustration and stood up.
Going to the bookshelf he was unsurprised to see Angel and grabbed their hand, dragging them to the table he was using.
"If you are going to follow me at least be useful"
Grabbing the book he put it in their hands, pointing at the words he was finding difficult.
Their voice was very soothing and he slowly relaxed into their side. He unthinkingly pushed their wing away from his side, more focused on the story than them.
Angel shivered at the feeling, unsure if he liked the touch. He didn't like it when others touched his wings but in this case, he felt no rage when it occurred. Perhaps his new chick is the exception to the rule. His smirk increased as he felt their positivity but so did his worries.
He had restricted his aura around them but he could still see the way they shivered when he got too happy. This can't continue like this. He will have to go to his brother, sure they would be able to help. A tug on his wing made him look down, amused at the glaring face of Sun.
"Hey! Pay attention. How do you say this word?"
For now he would be occupied with a rather bossy chick.
