Suns cat features had vanished due to the sheer horror of the situation, wishing he could do something similar for the rest of him. He glared suspiciously at the zombie Nightmare and he was glad others were on the same page as him for once, the tension in the air high.
"Can everyone stop looking at me like that? There is a perfectly simple explanation to what just happen-WHO HIT ME WITH A BIBLE?!"
He frowned at the lack of reaction that garnered and went for the holy water next, hopeful one of the things in his Inventory would put the Nightmare back in the ground where it belonged.
Who knew all those pranks would come in handy one day, huffing when the holy water was also a failure and deciding to go back to the basics. He pulled out a knife he got from a lovely Killer who sadly had an 'accident' but it looked sharp enough to finish the job.
Now he just had to convince some idiot to do it for him, not risking ending up having the same fate as Cross. He looked on feeling veryimpressed when garlic was thrown at Nightmare's head next, giving a begrudgingly approving look to Ink and thinking he might have found his 'volunteer' when he spotted them take out a wooden stake next.
Maybe he finally found a smart Creator.
"Ink!"
"What? We were all thinking it, Dream!"
"That is beside the point-PUT YOUR HAMMER AWAY, BLUE!"
"IVE SEEN AN ANIME LIKE THIS, DREAM, AND ITS BETTER TO DEAL WITH THIS NOW!
"..are we about to watch Boss get dusted?"
He stood corrected, two future volunteers as he watched approvingly at Blues actions. He tried to think how to pass off his weapon but hissed when it was suddenly grabbed by Opal who was getting higher on his list of 'disliked monsters' by the second.
He glared harder when they tried to feed him an apple, as if he was in the mood to deal with that but still grumpily accepted his plushy back.
He wasnt sure when he dropped it but he would say it was around the time Cross's bones started to look like unset jelly and began liquifying.
"Everyone needs to relax. Let me explain everything. It's a simple thing me and my brother-"
"BURN THE WITCHES!"
"BLUE?!
At this rate Sun felt he was going to have a new favourite, wondering if he judged Swap Sans too harshly in the past if they were capable of this. Their escalation to violence after seeing Nightmare resurrected seemed perfectly reasonable to him, still very much grossed out by the sounds he had been forced to hear.
"Gross. I'm glad I've never had to witness that before"
Sky said bluntly, saying what everyone else was thinking and ignoring the chiding look from a Dream who he cared little about and wondered if they already forgot what he just did but was more worried about the near manic look Sun was sporting.
He was proud of how much magic they were able to use, shown by the number of items they were pulling out of their Inventory but it was also kind of alarming, having searched through it himself just before arriving in this multiveres and not having seen any of those items before.
