this is kind of a part 4/kind of not. it's going to be based around the same things so tw for eating disorders, but won't be following the same storyline. it's more just a standalone one shot, set back before Travis knows about anything ☺️
p.s. i'm sorry this took so long, i literally just kept starting other one shots and never got around to finishing this one until right now 😭
p.s.s i have not spell/grammar checked

Travis' POV
"Morning beautiful." I whispered into Taylor's ear, and grazed my fingers lightly against her arm. She stirred a little, then groaned and blinked a few times, her eyes adjusting to the light. "How'd you sleep?" I propped myself up on my elbow as she shuffled into my chest.
She groaned softly again before answering, "Okay." She glanced up at me, "I woke up a few times."
"Oh, how come?" I brushed my fingers softly through her hair, and she brought her hand down to her stomach, rubbing it gently.
"I don't feel that good." She mumbled quietly, and I frowned.
"Anxious?" I asked, and Taylor slowly nodded.
I knew she'd been super anxious recently, not for any particular reason though. I think it's just one of those weeks.
"What time do we have to go?" She asked.
"My mom said around 10:30, so pretty soon." I answered, placing a soft kiss onto her forehead.
"I don't want to." She whispered into my chest, and I heard the familiar crack of her voice that made my heart break. I don't exactly know what had made this past week so bad, but she was clearly struggling.
I sighed and rubbed my hand over her back. "How come?"
Taylor didn't say anything for a moment, but eventually glanced up at me. "Everything's just hard." She frowned, then buried her face back into my chest.
"What do you mean?"
She didn't answer for almost a full minute, then shook her head and sighed. "I don't really wanna talk about it. I'm gonna have a shower." She mumbled, then slid out of bed and locked herself in the bathroom. I narrowed my eyes at the closed door. It was rare for either of us to close the door when we showered, let alone lock it, and that's if we weren't showering together.
Had I done something to upset her? It took a while, but she had gotten really good at opening up to me, and now all of a sudden she couldn't anymore?
Shaking my head to rid my thoughts, I climbed out of bed and changed into a pair of jeans and a collared shirt, then quickly made the final touches to my moms birthday present, and wrote in the card.
By the time I had finished, the shower was off but Taylor still hadn't come out of the bathroom. I lightly knocked on the door. "Baby? You okay? We gotta go in a few minutes." I called, but got no response. Furrowing my eyebrows, I tried fiddling with the door handle, but it was still locked. "Taylor?"
A moment later, I heard the door unlock. I stood there for a second, waiting for her to pull it open, but she never did. I took that as an invitation to open it myself. Slipping my hand over the handle, I gently pushed open the door, to find Taylor sitting on the closed toilet seat with her towel wrapped tightly around her body.
"I can't do this anymore Trav." She whispered quietly, and I immediately kneeled down beside her.
"Hey, what? What do you mean baby?" I asked, rubbing my hand gently over her knee.
