i tried with this chapter but honestly i find it so difficult to write when a character is home alone... there's no dialogue and I just end up rambling, but i tried 😭
also if you guys have any requests please comment them! ♥️

Groaning, I reached over for my ringing phone as I rubbed my eyes, forcing myself awake. I frowned when I realised Travis wasn't next to me, but picked up my phone and brought it to my ear.
"Hello?" I mumbled weakly, still half asleep. My eyes widened as I listened to the person on the other end of the phone– my personal trainer, Laura. I'd had a gym session with her at 11am, and somehow, it was already 11:15. It wasn't at all like me to sleep in so late, I couldn't believe it. "Shit, I'm sorry, I'll be there soon."
Hanging up, I scrambled out of bed and to the bathroom, where I brushed my hair up into a simple ponytail. Not bothering to shower now, since I'd shower after the gym anyway, I threw on a pair of short lilac biker shorts and a cropped white top, and headed downstairs. I frowned when I noticed a little sticky note stuck to the fridge, and quickly went to grab it and read it.
"Good morning baby, I had to leave early for practice, and didn't want to wake you. I'll be home around 5pm. Don't forget to have a big breakfast before the gym! My girl needs her energy. I love you so much. Have a good day!"
Smiling, I placed the note down on the kitchen counter and filled up a water bottle for myself, then headed out the door. Usually I would always have breakfast– especially with my history around eating, but I was late this morning, and simply didn't have time.
When I arrived, I apologised a million times for being late, but Laura assured me there were no issues, and it was all good. We got straight into a workout, and having just gotten out of bed, I wasn't exactly doing my best. Laura had to correct me on almost very exercise we did, and even then I still wasn't doing too well.
After 45 minutes, she insisted I take a break, and I nodded gratefully; I'd never felt so exhausted. Since the gym was empty, I sat down on the floor, leaning up against a box as I chugged my bottle of water. Checking my phone, I noticed a missed call from Travis, and called him back.
"Hey baby!" He quickly answered, and I relaxed into the phone call, the stress and exhaustion from this workout fading away.
"Hey, you called?" I said quietly.
"Yeah baby, training's running a little late today, so I won't be home until 7. We have a super busy day, it was hard to even find a time to call you!" He said, and he was practically yelling into his phone. He must've been surrounded by his friends or something– it seemed like other people were trying to get his attention.
"Oh– okay. I'll see you tonight then?"
"'Course baby! And hey– could we have fettuccine carbonara for dinner? That one that you're really good at making?" He asked and I giggled, leaning my head back against the box.
"Sure. I'll get it started before you get home."
"You're incredible baby girl, I'll see you tonight. I love you!"
"I love you t–" and before I could finish, I heard a beep, and pulled my phone away from my ear. He had hung up. He was just busy, I understood that. Like he'd said on the phone, he had a fully packed day. I should be grateful that he found a time to call me to let me know he'd be home later– I was grateful. Sighing, I put my phone away and found Laura to finish my workout.
By the time I arrived home I was sore and exhausted, and starving. I tossed my gym bag down by the door and smiled when Benji appeared at my feet, rubbing up against my leg.
