~{Chapter 89}~*This chapter is about when Dreamer🌀goes to stop a robbery at the city's *local bank🏦* but the bandit turns out to be an "alien" in disguise with the power✨of harnessing *ultraviolet light🔆energy* and he ended up blinded her with his power. So, Nia was going to be blind for at least a few hours or two til the effects were off. And what's worse is that she has a date with Brainy tonight🌃in less than an "hour" It's a literal blind date❤️. Lol😂! Short chapter. Enjoy!*

*At the N.C. Bank🏦*
*3:00 p.m.*
People were checking accounts while depositing & withdrawing money💵from their banking accounts, and loans. Others were in line to cash in their checks... until something "bad" was about to happen. A guy dressed in a fancy blue💙blazer suit was next in line as the female Banker asked for the next person to come forward to the desk as he walked slowly to her. However, he was only pretending to be a customer cause he was really here to rob this *bank🏦*😰. Then, he took a loaded gun out of his pocket and said. "Everyone put your hands on the air and get on the floor! This is a robbery." He shouted out pointing the gun at everyone threatening them that he would shoot someone if they didn't follow his orders. So, everyone got on the floor following the robber's orders not wanting to take the risk of getting shot or killed if they didn't do what he said. Except for the security guard who saw what was happening and instantly reacted charging in at the bad guy tackling him to the ground and then grabbing the gun from him and smashing it on the floor to prevent any violence from happening. That way the robber won't hurt these innocent people... unless he's secretly an alien with powers and he was! Which would make this situation "thousands of times" worse. He chuckled evilly. "I don't need a "gun" to get what I want. When I am a weapon!" he said out loud for dramatic effect and then stood up taking off his *imagine inducer* revealing that he's an "alien" with yellow skin and blonde silver hair
his species is an alien race that possesses the power of *starlight energy* but uses his power for evil instead of good. His hands "glowed" and shot out a beam of light energy at the guard as he hit the wall hard and then landed on the floor unconsciously after the impact. "Anyone else wants to play "hero?" The bad guy said. ***no one answered. "Good, that's what I thought." He said having a feeling that no one would try anything stupid to stand up to him or they'd end up "dead". "No one leaves," the robber added blocking off all exits with his alien powers creating a *forcefield* around the building🏦to prevent escape until he gets what he wants. So, he made his way to the vault to get "40K" in cash💵💸💰. Dreamer showed up on the scene as she was already inside waiting on the sidelines until the time was right to jump into action and save the day! Which is right now to protect the "innocent" just like Kara and Brainy taught her. Nia quietly rescued the hostages with her🌀powers without the bad guy noticing and she led them outside through a secret entrance/exit🚪to *safety* so, that she could deal with him and stop him. Moments later, he came back holding 2 bags💰💰of money💵in both hands and then dropped them on the floor dramatically and said💬. "What the?..." he said in shock at the sight of his hostages missing.

Then, Dreamer sent off a dream🌀energy wave blast at the robber to catch him off guard as a dramatic heroic entrance. And it worked! Just like she did the time fighting the children of liberty "2 years" ago at *Al's bar* protecting the aliens as a true "hero" at heart💙in standing up for *Alien Rights*. But today was different because She is protecting innocent people, humans, and aliens alike. "Ahh. Dreamer, perfect timing! I was wondering when you show up as I knew you would. But you can't stop me cause I "always" win and get what I want!" He said like a supervillain having a feeling that Dreamer would show up to stop him. So, he used his light🔆powers✨on her to *blind* the "hero". Nia blocked his attack with her own creating a *dream catcher shield* around her for her protection. However, that failed😅! As the beam of light blast hit her💙in the face breaking down her shield🛡️as she fell to the ground. Then, the robber made a run for it with the money💵when Dreamer🌀was down! Her eyes blinked a bit trying to see clearly but couldn't... cause Nia was "blind" as she said for dramatic effect.
"I can't see! You guys, I can't see." Dreamer said fearfully in shock at the realization of being blind as she spoke through the *comms* telling the others at the *tower* while stating the obvious of her condition that she could not see anything.
