~{Chapter 5}~*this chapter is about when Brainy goes to Nia's place to break up with her. To protect her from Lex and not having to lie to her every day. And just before he arrives... Nia has a dream vision about what he's about to do.

*Brainy's POV*
I don't want to have to do this! Especially, to Nia Nal. To break her heart💙...
I never really wanted to hurt in any other way. But this is for the best. If she were to dream of what I'm about to do and why I'm doing this. I won't do it! But there's an 87% chance of that being true.
I arrived at Nia's apartment door🚪moments later, not ready to do this. But I have to!
Hoping that she makes this easy on me.

*Knock-knock*

Just before Nia opens the door to let Brainy come inside...
{She has a dream🌀flash✨}
In her dream, she's in the dream realm and she's in Al's bar, she sees Brainy talking to his female doppelgänger
Saying... "If you're gonna save your World, you have to work with Lex Luthor. Querl, you must do this alone.
No one can know that you're doing this. You must give up everyone and everything that you hold dear."
Brainy added. "Even Nia?" He questioned sadly.
"Till the world has been saved."
She added. "I'm sorry."
And then in her apartment and Nia saw Brainy again while looking sadly.
And saw herself talking to Brainy as he said.
"And now, some things are gonna have to change, Nia." He said softly.
Trying to hold in his tears.
"Of course. Look, Brainy, whatever you need, we'll work it out.
Together." Nia said with compassion.
Brainy sighed.
"Together" he said softly. As he looked down not wanting to do this.
To hurt Nia like this. Breaking up💔with her🥺.
He paused. "That's what has to change."
Nia's eyes widened in confusion.
"What?" she questioned.
"I can't be with you anymore."
Nia had tears in her eyes hearing him say that...
" I don't understand."
She paused.
She stepped back away from him. And said.
"Who are You?"
He sighed as he looked down.
Wanting to tell her that he didn't mean it.
Any of it! But he couldn't his mission is all that matters.
In order to save the world, protect his friends, and even Protect Nia
From getting hurt in Lex's crossfire.
" For the first time ever,"
He paused. Looking at her. Trying to hide his feelings...
"Myself."
After he said... he just walked out of her apartment
And just leave her there alone in her apartment...
{End of dream flash}

Nia gasped. As she looked at the door.
Knowing what's going to happen when she sees him.
Meaning Brainy.

Oh my god! Brainy. I can't believe that he's about to break up with me
At this moment. To save the world, and to protect the people he loves❤️from getting hurt... Including me.
Nia thought to herself.

Nia knew that she had to convince Brainy not do this in breaking up with her.
Even if he is trying to protect her.

So, she walked up to her door to let him in.
Her instinct was to hug him when she saw him right away...
But she decided to shout out at him instead wanting some answers.
Even though she already knew why... thanks to her dream!

"Brainy, don't you dare break up with me?!" Nia spoke out to express her emotions about what she saw in her dream.
"Wait, What?! You know?" he questioned and relieved with a slight smile.

"Yeah, I know. Brainy I had a dream flash. And you don't have to do this. I know you're Only trying to protect me." Nia said as she led him into her Apartment and both sat on the couch to talk about it.

(Brainy sighed)
"Nia, I'm so sorry. I was almost about to break up with you.
But there's no other way! I have to do this! In order, To protect you. Nia. I-I..."
Brainy was interrupted by Nia. She kissed him immediately.

"Brainy, look at me. You don't need to protect me by Breaking up with me, pushing me away.
And Secretly working for Lex. That's not right. And you know it!" Nia said.

"You're right. Nia Nal. I just love you so much!
I don't know what I was thinking."

Nia smiled and hugged him dearly.
"I know, It's ok. We'll figure this out "together." Nia said dearly.
Brainy nodded in agreement.
