A Magical Virus...

~{Chapter 97}~*This chapter is about when Nia is diagnosed with an "magical virus"after an encounter with an powerful witch. Until at the last second, Lena found an alien witch born with healing powers that is happy to help cure Dreamer🌀's magical illness.

*Late at night, downtown of National City on the streets/roads*
*10:03 p.m.*
Dreamer was protecting her fair🏙city from chaos once again while summoning her *dream energy lasso* into one hand to capture the bad guy while blasting out multiple "dream🌀blasts" to lose their balance somehow. Sadly, it didn't work as they so happened to be a rogue witch with evil intentions defending herself against the hero chanting a spell summoning the elements🌊❄️🌬🔥⚡️of earth🌎. Luckily, Nia dodged every single one of them with her dream interpretation predicting every move in seconds and avoiding it! "Gotta ya," Dreamer said finally wrapping her dream🌀energy lasso phone cord around the witch and planning on knocking her out and turning her into the *DEO* since Alex, John, and Brainy developed containment in holding witches to dampen their magic Since they've been getting a lot of those since Lena embraced her witch and announced to the whole world that she is one. "You may think that you got me but this is only the beginning... Naltorian. Esstu lasto vira "death"magica," the witch said evilly for dramatic effect casting a spell on Dreamer🌀.

Then, Nia gasped fearfully feeling an unbearable pain in her body as it felt like her whole immune system was breaking from the inside out, and then was light-headed. When her focus was lost. Her dream energy lasso glitched out into thin air... and just like that the rogue witch was free. She chuckled and then snapped her fingers making Dreamer pass out on the ground so suddenly and then left the scene heading to her hideout because she knew that this battle was far from over.

*An hour later, at the Tower*
*11:07 p.m.*
Nia was tossing and turning in her sleep😴and then she gasped awake in fear and looked around her to find herself in the *tower medbay* on a hospital bed and saw her friends beside her with concerned/worried looks at their friend with tears of sadness in their eyes. This meant that something happened and Nia already knew what it was... cause her dream showed her inside the dream realm moments ago about how the witch she was fighting earlier cast a deadly spell on her to have a virus and that she only had a few hours to live. "Nia, I am so sorry that this happened to you. (Sobs) I should have been there fighting beside you. Forgive me, Nia Nal," Brainy said in tears holding his girlfriend's hand and feeling terrible and blaming himself that he was the reason why Nia Nal AKA Dreamer🌀was dying. "I know you didn't do anything wrong. Brainy, I understand that, and besides, no one could have predicted that this would happen. Not even me. So, please, don't blame yourself. And just remember that I will "Always" love you no matter." Nia said softly in a weak voice coughing violently in pain while being accepting of death almost at her doorstep and letting her boyfriend know that their love❤️is forever. "I-I... love you too. Nia, but I don't know how to live in a world without you in it." Brainy said in tears of fear refusing to lose the love of his life. "I know. I don't either, but I know we'll find each other again." Nia said getting close to reaching her end. "Actually I think I have an way to save your life Nia, no one dies on my watch. The superfamily stays together no matter what," Lena added for dramatically stepping into the medbay with a solution to save Nia's life. Brainy wiped his tears away turned around to face his friend and said. "You what? How??" Brainy asked the obvious question loudly. "You can come in," Lena said asking the person that she brought to come out. A Witch magically appeared in the tower before their very eyes and said. "Hi! There, I'm Sophia Fadda it's pleasure to meet you all! I wish it was on better terms but I'm here to help you Nia Nal, Dreamer." the healing witch said as an introduction to herself. "But how? I'm dying from a death spell that another earth witch cast on me. So, how are you going to help me?" Nia said in a weak voice coughing violently stating the facts that her condition cannot be cured. "She's a crystallian witch with healing powers so, I'm pretty sure that she can heal you, Nia," Lena explained.
"Yes, that's right! I am. But let me have a look at you Dreamer to see what we're dealing with here. Cause in order for me to heal your sickness is see where it started to cure you and prevent you from dying. If that's "okay" with you, Miss Nal." Sophia asked politely. Nia nodded in agreement. "Very well then. Time to work my magic," Sophia said confidently approaching her as she placed her hands on Nia's chest and closed her eyes "glowing" pink in the palms of her hands trying to determine the cause of Dreamer's illness. She gasped lightly after finding out and said. "It is as I fear. Looks like you have a magical virus. The witch that you fought earlier tonight didn't cast a spell on you to feel sick and die. But to cause damage to your immune system to die quicker than an average human." Sophia explained.

"I'm Sorry, I have a what?" Nia asked in confusion. "Yeah, I'm also, confused too," Brainy said. Yeah, same here!" Kara added. "Oh, yes that's right you aren't familiar with basic witchcraft spells. Allow me to explain! Magical Viruses are really common for an rogue witches put in people to end their life quicker in getting away with their crimes. It's basically like an parasite feeding off you inside your body and the reason why you're monitors didn't detect it... cause all magical viruses are cloaked at first. Kind of like an invisible wall or something that is hidden behind the naked eye. Allow me." She said spiritually in a wise voice waving in her hands in the air while chanting an spell to uncloak the magical virus for it to be visible on the screen and everyone ti see and know that she was telling the truth after all. The heart rate monitor beeped nonstop until it said something about an virus inside Nia's immune system. Just like Sophie said! "She's right!" Brainy said stating the obvious out loud when it appeared suddenly on the screen. "I told ya. I'm "Always" right when it comes to magic! Don't worry, I can fix this with my healing powers in seconds. Nia,"Sophie said. Dreamer nodded in agreement with trusting Sophie the healing witch with her life. Then, Sophia closed her eyes speaking in her alien species' language chanting a spell while concentrating on her alien healing powers/abilities to cure Nia's magical virus completely and it was working. The virus vanished into thin air without causing any serious damage to Nia's immune system or her body. "It's done," Sophia finally said in a soft satisfied voice for successfully finishing the spell for curing all magical viruses from someone's immune system in a matter of seconds In just one day before time ran out. Nia gasped for air feeling better already with the brightest smile on her face. "Nia?" Brainy said softly to his girlfriend with worry in his eyes approaching her questioning if it actually worked and she was cured. "Yeah, I'm fine. Brainy, I am actually great! I'm cured! Thank you so much! Sophia, you saved my life! Literally." Nia said feeling filled with excitement and thanking Sophia (The Healing Witch) for saving her life. She smiled. "Of course, it's my pleasure. Nia, I'm an healing witch, and saving people's lives is what I do." Sophia said smiling happy to help. "You know what you would make an great hero. I bet you could help so many people with your healing powers!" Kara suggested. "Yeah, she's right! We could use another witch on our team! What do you say? Sophia, would you be interested in joining the super friends?" Nia questioned as a suggestion in Sophia Fadda becoming a hero and joining their team to be a "Superfriend" in protecting National City with her magic and healing abilities for the greater good of humans & aliens kind.

She sighed sadly. "It's a nice offer and I always wanted to be a hero to save people with my powers but I'm afraid that I'm gonna have to "decline" Nia because there is no hope for me. Healing witches are not meant to be heroes only acting as support and not combat." Sophia stated in a sad voice. "I see, well, maybe we can change that. You be something more than just an healer and support hero. You can be something more!" Brainy suggested wisely. "Okay, You convinced me! I'll join the Superfriends!" Sophie said excitedly to be a hero and use her powers to help others.
