OMYGOSHHH. characters need to stop confessing their romantic live in high stress, limited time, near death, life or death situations.
"We might die, so I wanna tell you this now" here's a thought. Keep moving so you do get out alive (technically theses specific characters are already dead, they're ghosts, but they're escaping hell) anyways keep moving so you do actually make it out of hell, and then you can confess your love.
And for everything that's good in this world do not say "I love you as more than friends" even if you say I love you and they think you mean in a friendship way and you wanna clear it up, you can say "I'm in love with you" bc most people will think that's romantic or just say I have romantic feeling for you.
It's not that hard. You're already confessing your love to them, that's the hard part. Using the word romantic instead of more than friends shouldn't be that hard.
The day I see a piece of media like a book or show in pop culture that doesn't use more than friends will be a day I can finally be at peace.
Anyways I love Charles bc he said to Edwin who confessed his love that he may not be in love but Edwin is still his "best mate and the most important person in the world to me" YESSS. I STAN. PLATONIC LOVE IS IMPORTANT TOO💜💜💜
He said he's the only person he'd go to hell for🥹🥹 and Charles has a romantic love interest that is like on and off working. So like it means a lot to me he said that and I don't care what the fandom has to say I will stay blissfully ignorant.
Annnyways before typing this I did see a few TikTok's about the show and I saw one comment that implies a head-canon of Aroace Edwin which I will stand by bc it makes sense bc the one person he has romantic feelings for he had a platonic/emotional connection with first so he could be demi aro.
