Today unfortunately is just one of those days where everything is making me annoyed. So that's already setting me up for disaster. Anyways I don't want to complain about everything little thing because one of them is about the Descendants song Space Between and I already did a rant thing about that.
Right now I just wanna talk about how I saw an edit of Uma and Harry to that Alec Benjamin song with the verse he wrote about his sister that goes like "I'll be your brother and I'll hold your hand you should know I'll be there for you" or something (I added the song to the top)
Point of the matter is that verse is for siblings or sibling like dynamics. So I got excited bc Uma and Harry kinda do give sibling vibes. I know a lot of people ship them but they never actually dated in the movies. But some of the comments were like "endgame" or "i ship" and the video creator agreeing.
Like... the song said BROTHER. what's worse is there is a whole other verse in the same song with the SAME WORDS but instead of brother it's lover. So if you're gonna do a romantic ship edit, use that verse.
Like can't platonic love have some things. We can't have Space Between and we can't have this verse that literally directly says "I'll be your brother" like come on.
And you'd think this would motivate me to write my platonic love story- and sometimes it does but lately when I see stuff like this and people turning platonic things romantic it makes me not wanna write no regrets because even though I made it clear Reggie and Rue especially Rue don't want to date, people are gonna make it romantic anyway.
I never used to be such a romance hater before I found out I'm aro. Sure I was never a romance hater but it did it's thing and I occasionally appreciated it from afar now pretty much all romance makes me mad for some reason and I feel like a cartoon super villain or something.
It's all just so frustrating. Like everything is so frustrating right now.
