So I'm watching this old show called Backstage it was a Disney show (but for some reason it's not on Disney plus 🙄) anyways I haven't seen it in years but I'm rewatching it while I recover from my go kart accident (I ruined my hand. This is a pain to type bc I only have one hand and its my non dominate hand. Not important to this story tho) anyways I always loved how this dude Jax and this girl kit were best buds and there was nothing romantic about it. They were just best friends and I admired their friendship.
Kit leaves the school ( it's a performing arts school and she wanted to go to a regular school) and when she comes back for a quick visit she has a new look that's "more girly" she dressed more tomboy like before but now she was wearing a dress and bam all of the sudden it's "omg Jax you so have a crush on her" and he did like call her attractive when he first saw her that day she came back but all he saw was her back and he didn't know it was kit.
So the thing I don't like is them ruining a perfect friendship. Them together romantically is just too weird so I hope they don't actually get together. But also they made her more girly and now all of a sudden he sees her romantically because " she looks more like a girl"
But Jax's other friend miles and him are talking and Jax is like "isn't it so crazy Aleah said I have a crush on kit, i don't" and miles is like "well you have a lot in common and both like music" Jax says "same with me and you" and miles is like you spend a lot of time together" again Jax says "us too" miles says "You never get sick of each other" Jax says "I don't get sick of you" and I'm pretty sure kit had been sick of Jax
It's just so freaking annoying bc their friendship was perfect and to make Jax suddenly have a crush on her feels cheap espically since it was after she saw her dress more stereotypical girly than what she usually wears
And now Aleah is gonna meddle. I hate her can't she just stay out of it
I hope nothing comes out of this and they don't get together.
