Three months, three months since Tony disappeared, three months since Aaliyah was running Stark Industries, Aaliyah sighed as she closed her laptop, the back ground was that of Tony and Aaliyah herself at their eighteenth birthday in London where they were legally allowed to drink.
Aaliyah placed her head on her arms as she looked at the photo Tony had on his desk, she smiled.
The photo was of herself and Tony, Aaliyah could make her father out in the background meaning it was Peggy taking the photo, Tony had his arms wrapped around Aaliyah's waist, which twenty eight year old Aaliyah wished she could have.
When the door opened and Pepper walked in holding a folder.
"Obadiah would like you to look over this contract." Pepper said placing it down on the desk.
Aaliyah flipped through the contract and slid it back to Pepper.
"Tell him, Tony and I have already discussed this contract and the answer is no, we're not signing this contract. We don't do weapons contracts with outside companies." said Aaliyah.
"Well, I tried to tell him. I'll try again after lunch." said Pepper.
"Is it lunch time already?" Aaliyah asked, she'd lost track of time.
"Yes." said Pepper, she started to leave.
"You're joining me too." Pepper said turning around to see Aaliyah opening her laptop again.
Aaliyah chuckled but listened none the less.
Pepper was eating a salad while Aaliyah was eating a wrap, they were eating at Pepper's favourite lunch place when Pepper dropped her salad in shock.
"What?" Aaliyah asked, catching Pepper's salad.
"He's alive, Tony's alive, Ali, he's alive." said Pepper.
Aaliyah put her wrap and Pepper's salad down and hugged her as she laughed.
"Come on, we have to go get him." said Aaliyah pulling Pepper along.
Pepper laughed, Happy took the two women to the airport.
Rhodey helped Tony off the plane, who smiled when he saw Aaliyah, she looked at him with tears falling down her face, before his eyes floated to Happy and Pepper.
