Tony and Aaliyah arrive at Stark Tower where Selvig, activates the CMS device, holding the Tesseract. "Sir, Ma'am. I took the Arc Reactor offline, the device is already self-sustaining." said JARVIS.
"Shut it down Selvig." said Aaliyah. "It's too late! It can't stop now. He wants to show us something! A new universe." Selvig replied. "Okay." said Tony.
Tony and Aaliyah look at each other and aim their hands toward the CMS and fire. The energy from their boosters shatter with a deafening crack. Selvig falls backwards. Aaliyah and Tony stare in disbelief at the CMS being unharmed.
"The barrier is pure energy. It's unbreachable." said JARVIS.
"We figured." said Aaliyah.
Aaliyah and Tony returned to Stark Tower and their amour was removed by JARVIS, as they were going to wear their newest suits, the Mark 7 of the Magdalene and Iron Man. Loki, locked eyes with Aaliyah and Tony as the three made their way into the penthouse.
Tony Stark and Aaliyah Cohen had their eyes trained on Loki across the living room as Tony poured himself a small glass of scotch and Aaliyah poured herself a whiskey. "Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." Loki said.
"Uh...actually, we're planning to threaten you." Aaliyah corrects. "Well you should've left your armour on for that." said Loki. "Yeah, it's seen a bit of mileage. You've got the blue stick of destiny. Would you like a drink?" Aaliyah asked.
"Stalling me won't change anything." Loki comments. "No, no, no! Threatening. No drink? You sure? Liyah and I are having one." said Tony..
Loki had a smirk on his face as he turned to look out the windows of the living room to the sky. "The Chitauri are coming...nothing will change that." Loki turned back to Aaliyah and Tony. "What do I have to fear?"
"The Avengers." Aaliyah said, she and Tony looked up from their drinks and stared Loki's face. "That's what we call ourselves, sorta like a team. Earth's mightiest heroes, that sort of thing." Tony explained.
"I've met them."
"Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But, let's do a head count here. Your brother, the demigod; a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend; a man with breath-taking anger management issues; The hot love of my life who looks wonderful in blue and silver." Tony glances at Aaliyah who smiled slightly before looking back at Loki.
"Might I say, a couple of master assassins both whom would like you dead because you killed their friend, and you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them." Aaliyah said adding onto what Tony was saying.
"That was the plan-"
"Not a great plan." said Aaliyah interrupting him.
"Not a great plan," Tony interjected, taking a sip of his drink as he and Aaliyah walked around the counter.
