"Drop to 2600, heading 0-3-0," Aaliyah could hear Steve tell Sam at the front of the aircraft. The woman rose and followed Natasha to the front, glancing at Wanda as she watched over Vision.
"I hope you're right about this, Cap. Or we're gonna land a lot faster than you want to." Sam comments.
The Quinjet approached the green covered mountains, looking as if it was going to crash into them, before going right through, the sight of Wakanda before them making Aaliyah's eyes grow big in wonder and amazement.
After Germany and Siberia, she never believed she'd get to see the mysterious Wakanda for herself. If only it were under better circumstances, she wished it was.
The Quinjet landed on the designated strip as the ramp opened, allowing them to walk about to the awaiting King and his general. Steve, Natasha and Sam led the way out, Aaliyah walking out along with Bruce and Rhodey while Wanda helped Vision to stand.
Aaliyah had tuned Bruce and Rhodey out as the men were talking about something and stood beside Steve. "It seems I'm always thanking you for something." T'Challa and Steve shake hands only to be stopped when Hayley Rogers and Rebecca Barnes Jr run through in between them.
Those who didn't know of Hayley and Rebecca's existence blinked in surprise when Hayley all of a sudden stopped seeing her father through the corner of her eye, she turned towards him and grinned, Rhodey frowned thoughtfully he knew the grin from somewhere.
Steve grinned in return before placing a finger to his lips, knowing his daughter would continue running around with Rebecca without a second thought for the new people in Wakanda, the group started moving towards the palace.
"So how big of an assault can we expect?" T'Challa asked, knowing in mere minutes Hayley wouldn't be able to contain her joy at seeing her father during the day and reveal the secret.
"Uh, sir, I think you can expect quite a big assault." said Bruce, still reeling over the two little girls that were running around and no adult caring meaning the girls were born and raised here even if they were only two years old.
"How we looking?" Steve asked.
"You will have my King's Guard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and..." T'Challa trailed off as Bucky walked towards the group.
"Two semi-stable, 100-year-old ex assassins."
Steve and Bucky share a hug.
"How're you and Jen doing, Buck?" Steve asked.
"Uh, not bad for the end of the world."
Sam looks around for a moment, expecting Jenna to be at Bucky's side, like she was two years ago. "Hey, where's your other half?" he asked.
"Here, I'm right here." said Jenna walking towards the group, when Hayley and Rebecca come running through.
"Hayley, Rebecca slow down." another voice called out, causing everyone to turn towards her, and there she is, Dr Emma Diament, the woman who vanished after her two year relationship with Steve was revealed to the press and world.
