Hill has taken the trio to a secret facility, and a man runs towards them; referring to Natasha and Aaliyah's wound.
"GSW. They've both lost at least a pint." said Hill.
"Maybe two." said Sam and Emma.
"Let me take her." Doctor Fine said, before speaking to Emma. "Can you take her?" he points to Aaliyah, Emma nodded and started leading her cousin to sit down somewhere when Hill speaks.
"They'll want to see him first." Hill takes them to Fury who's alive and lying in bed, the four look at him in shock.
"About damn time." Fury said, while Aaliyah and Natasha's wounds are getting treated by Doctor Fine and Emma.
"Lacerated spinal column, cracked sternum, shattered collarbone, perforated liver, one hell of a headache." said Fury listing his injuries off.
"Don't forget your collapsed lung." Doctor Fine said to Fury as he finished treating Natasha's wound while Emma finished her cousins.
"Oh, let's not forget that, otherwise I'm good."
"They cut you open, your heart stopped." said Natasha.
"Tetrodotoxin B. Slows the pulse to one beat a minute. Banner developed it for stress. Didn't work so great for him, but we found a use for it." Fury explained.
"Why all the secrecy? Why not just tell us?" Aaliyah and Steve asked.
"Any attempt on the director's life had to look successful." Hill said.
"Can't kill you if you're already dead. Besides, I wasn't sure who to trust." Natasha frowns at that.
Fury was looking at a photo of Pierce. "declined the Nobel Peace Prize. He said, "Peace wasn't an achievement, it was a responsibility." See, it's stuff like this that gives me trust issues."
"We have to stop the launch." said Natasha.
"I don't think the Council's accepting my calls anymore." Fury opens a case containing three chips.
"What's that?" Sam asked.
"Once the Helicarriers reach three thousand feet, they'll triangulate with Insight satellites becoming fully weaponised." said Hill.
"We need to breach those carriers and replace their targeting blades with our own." said Fury.
"One or two won't cut it. We need to link all three carriers for this to work, because if even one of those ships remains operational a whole lot of people are gonna die." said Hill.
"We have to assume everyone aboard those carriers is HYDRA. We need to get past them, insert the server blades, and maybe, just maybe, we can salvage what's left..." Fury was interrupted by Aaliyah and Steve.
