Damon
The next morning after the ball, I set out to find out more about Abigail Mikaelson. It drove me crazy how much I thought about her, no matter how much I tried to hate her because of her family. So I absolutely hated myself when I pulled into Mystic Falls High parking lot, in search of Rebekah, hoping she would tell me something.. anything about her sister.
Me with my impeccable timing, showed up right in the middle of second period and with all the patience I mustered up before leaving the house, I waited exactly 3 ½ minutes before knocking on Ric's classroom door. "Damon , why are you doing here? I'm in the middle of class." I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Class started 10 minutes ago. I need Rebekah."
"Since when do you willingly talk to the Mikaelson's?"
"You know I can hear you right? If it wasn't for my new manicure, I'd rip your tongue out. Now move before I bleed the vervain out of you and compel you to act like a monkey for the rest of the class." Rebekah sassed, stepping out into the hallway. I shut the classroom door, running down the hallway to catch up with her. "So what do you want? I haven't quite lowered my standards enough to sleep with you."
"Yeah I don't care. What can you tell me about your sister?" She stops and turns to look at me. "You and my sister will never happen." She snorted, while holding a serious expression. I couldn't tell if she was joking or not. "I'd rather hear that from her."
"You never will.""Why's that?"
"You'll never get close enough.. and if you do, you won't live long enough to get your answer." She was definitely serious, maybe a little too serious. "So I have no chance with her?"
"You have a better chance of getting Klaus to fall in love with you, than you do being left alone with my sister long enough to even ask her on a date."
"You couldn't cover for her one night so I could take her out and get to know her?" She shakes her head and starts walking away, me following behind. "If my brothers find out I knew about her going out on a date, especially with you, I'd be daggered longer than Finn."
"Can you at least tell me when she's coming back?"
"I'm not telling you when you'll be able to stalk my poor sister." I grab her arm, stopping her right outside of the school. "I'm not stalking her. I just can't shake this feeling I had when I saw her." She raises an eyebrow, seeming like she was taken back by what I said. "What feeling would that be?"
"I don't know. That's why I need to see her again to figure out what it is." I notice her relax and roll her eyes, hopefully about to tell me what I want to hear. "I'm not sure when she's coming back, but I'm sure it won't be much longer. She's never gone too long."
"Thank you!!" I rushed out, trying to act like I wasn't going to wait around for the day I would see her walking in the square. "Don't tell anyone I said that!!" She yelled as I got into my car. Now all I had to do was wait.
