Abbie

I could kill Avery! And Elijah.

How could either one of them be so stupid to allow this?! Why would she think it's okay to come back after everything I did to get her out. I have no doubt Elijah had a hand in this. He's always had a soft spot for Avery and wouldn't push her away if she came back. It's infuriating.

"Should we expect another tantrum today?" Klaus quips the second I walk into the kitchen. He's sitting at the table with my other treacherous brother and of course, Avery. I tear my eyes away from him, making my way to the stove to make my plate.

"Only if you consider me handing you over to the witches, a tantrum?" I stack my plate, taking his silence as a victory. Turning back towards the table, the only chair left at the table is beside Avery. Apparently the rest of our dining chairs vanished with their sanity. They think this will force me to talk to her? They have another thing coming.

I drop my plate onto the island, and start cutting my waffles. I notice Avery rolling her eyes and Elijah glaring at me, so I decide to test my luck. Mumbling an aphasia spell, I seal Avery's mouth just as she brings a bite up to it. Her head whips up to me, her eyes flaring with anger. I nearly laugh, but that would ruin my message.

"If you'd like to eat, I'm sure the hotel around the corner will feed you. Would you like me to pack your bags?" I cock my head to the side and smile, before turning back to my breakfast.

"Drop the spell, Abigail. That's no way to treat family." Elijah sighs, flipping his newspaper. I snort, not even bothering to hide it. "Now she's family? Last time I checked, she walked away. Maybe this time you can help her pack her things." Avery's silverware slam against the table, as her chair clatters to the floor.

"Is there something you would like to say, Avery?" I don't look up from my plate, but the smile still stretches across my face as I feel every ounce of anger radiating off of her.

"Abigail, I won't ask again. Drop the spell and quit this petty bickering." I roll my eyes, looking up at him. "Then don't ask again." I start the spell over again, cut off when he grabs my wrist, pushing me into the counter behind me.

"Stop this nonsense. I won't have any more bickering in this house." I smile, pushing him off of me. "I'm glad we agree. Now tell her to pack her bags and we can settle this another time." I start out the room, hearing him call out to me. "Drop the spell Abigail Kate!"

"It'll go away when she does." I storm off to my room, putting up a boundary spell. I dropped the spell, so I know Avery will be storming up here any minute now. Too bad she won't be able to get in. Even if she did, she wouldn't stay long. If she won't take this as a hint, I'll burn all of her clothes, forcing her to leave to get more. If she can't get back in after that, then.. oh well.

Deciding to distract myself, I pull up Melissa's messages and check in. Surprisingly, I miss working at the hospital. I also miss not having to deal with my family. Not so surprising. My phone vibrates with a message.

Melissa
Crazy as always. Afraid it's not going to get any better anytime soon.

Abbie
What does that mean? That bad?

Melissa
We're not sure what we're looking at, but we could use your help. So if you could tell your sister to have her baby soon, we'd appreciate it.

I roll my eyes, hating the idea of Hayley being a sister. I've worked on my anger towards Hayley, but clearly there are still some things to work on.

Abbie
I'll let her know. Tell the boys I hate I'm missing their game and I'll be at every single one when I get back.
