Abbie
I knocked on Elijah's study door, letting out a breath as he called for me to come in. I pushed the door open, walking in the room. "It's great to see you, Abigail." He walks over, freezing and pressing his lips together, when I hold my hand up. "I came here to talk to you." I moved around him, taking a seat in front of his desk. He slowly turned around, clearly taken back by my reaction.
"I got that from Rebekah storming in here, telling me if Klaus so much as showed up to this meeting, she would dagger me." He flashed me a smile, quietly laughing at the blonde tornado of anger I knew she was. "What is it that you wanted to talk about?" He sat back in his chair, maintaining eye contact with me.
"I want to move back in." I deadpanned, waiting for him to give me a list of rules that will basically state I can't do anything, see anyone or breathe without their permission. "That's fine. I'll see to it that someone helps you with your things. Will Lucien be joining you?" I sat up straighter, letting out a sigh.
"Not that it's any of your concern, but no. It's just me." His eyebrows shot up, looking my face over for any type of emotion. He wouldn't find any. I spent the last week, coming to terms with this and ultimately pushing all my feelings down. "Very well. Your room is how you left it. When will you move in?"
"I have most of my things in my car, is tonight okay?"
"That's fine. Will you be joining us for dinner?" I nod, before standing up. He follows, flashing me a warm smile. "I'll see you then." We both nod, as I walk towards the door. "And Abigail?" He pauses, waiting for me to turn around. "It really is great to have you back." I give him a tight lipped smile, before walking out, closing the door behind me.
