Abbie

Lucien and I had officially been living in Mystic Falls for a month now, despite both of us longing to go back to Italy. In this past month, Klaus and Avery argue constantly, which isn't anything out of the ordinary, just makes it even more unbearable to go over there. I also think Elijah is involved with their arguing.. which is weird seeing he never gets involved. Rebekah was daggered for a week because she got mad at Klaus and popped one of his blood bags with Elena's blood, Kol stalked mine and Lucien's every move, making sure we aren't being too much of a couple.

I refused to move back into the house with Klaus, so Elijah agreed to continue to let me stay in mine and Lucien's rental.. as long as we attended family dinner every Sunday and Wednesday. Avery and Rebekah are over here at least every other day, especially Rebekah since we ride to school together.

Speaking of school, we've been back from spring break for 3 weeks now and I'm actually enjoying it. I'm closer to their friend group now, including Matt and Tyler. I also joined the cheer team seeing how one of them had an accident over spring break, causing her to miss the rest of the season. I suspect Rebekah had something to do with it, seeing as it was the day after I mentioned it.

So today after cheer practice ended, like always on Wednesday, Rebekah and I got into my car which finally arrived from Italy and drove back over to the family house. Lucien had texted me earlier saying Klaus asked him to come over earlier to 'hangout' until dinner, which made me go to Avery's messages to ask her to keep an eye on him, but she had already sent me a text saying she was already on it.

Everyone at the house seemed to be in a better mood. Despite what I said before, Klaus actually undaggered Rebekah when I asked, that way she could go to school with me. Elijah was nicer, basically catering to my every need or want, no matter how absurd. I at least got a new purse and shoes out of it. Kol was still nosing about my business but I think he was backing off some because Lucien was growing on him. Not that he'd ever admit it.

Klaus and Avery on the other hand, were still at each other's throats. Avery was still the sweetest towards me and Klaus was actually coming around too. He said he'd spare Lucien's life because I got Elena's blood. I know it was making a deal with the devil, but it kept Elena and a lot of people alive. It was still weird having Klaus even speaking to me again without arguing after this long.

I pushed away some of the flyaway hairs around my face as me and Rebekah walked in the house, ready to go upstairs, shower and change before dinner. "Abbie Kate!" A cold chill went through my spine when I heard Klaus call me from the sitting room. He hadn't called me that in over a year and I wasn't quite fond of it since he last called me that. I shrugged at Rebekah who stopped and was looking at me as I froze in place. I nodded for her to go on up, as I turned and walked into the room just off the foyer.

I saw Elijah, Klaus and Lucien sitting around, all holding a glass of scotch in their hands. "Hey. I was just about to shower and get ready for dinner." Lucien stood up, setting his drink on the table before coming over to me. "How was your day, A'more 'mio?" His hands rested gently on my hips, pulling me into a quick kiss before returning and waiting for my answer.

"It was good. How was your day? We're my brothers on their best behavior?" I raised an eyebrow, catching Klaus roll his eyes out the corner of my eye. Lucien smiled, letting out a soft laugh. "They were perfect hosts." I snort, shaking my head. "I can see the gun being held to your head." We both laughed as he leaned in giving me another quick kiss before pulling me over to the couch and sitting beside me.

"What did you want, Nik?" He looked up at me, as he swirled the last little bit of drink in his glass. I picked up Lucien's glass, taking a sip before sitting it back down on a coaster. We may be a 1000 year old and can afford to replace the furniture, doesn't mean we have to. "It's Wednesday. We have dinner on Wednesday." He cleared up. "I'm very aware of the punishment Elijah setup.. I'm asking why you called me in here."
