Damian Morales is a 28-year-old chief warrant officer of the U.S. military. He's one of the hundreds of military personnel brought to Olonggapo City to conduct training exercises with the Filipino military. He has a strong personality, grouchy but very responsible when it comes to his work.
While staying in the Philippines, he met Rowena Agcaoili, a 25-year-old public school teacher who is also the daughter of the mayor of Olonggapo. He wooed her and courted her.
