Mya was still making her way over to the scene of the battle.
"Ugh, I hope I don't miss the fight." Mya said. "Knowing them, they probably defeated the wizard already."
Meanwhile, Tatsumi and Akame's intense battle was only heating up even more.
Akame fired an energy beam at Tatsumi, but he destroyed it.
"Nice try!" Tatsumi said as he destroyed another beam.
Akame rapidly fired more beams at Tatsumi which he dodged, and he destroyed the last one.
Akame snuck up behind Tatsumi and viciously kneed him in the chest as he turned around and grabbed him and crashed down to the ground.
"What's wrong, Tatsumi!?" Akame smirked as she slammed him down to the rocks below.
Akame charged at Tatsumi with a lethal headbutt and tried to blast Tatsumi, but he dove out of the way.
"There you are!" Akame said as she spotted Tatsumi and fired another beam.
Akame rushed into the smoke.
"Now die, Tatsumi!!" Akame said.
But Tatsumi wasn't there, but instead was on a rock behind Akame.
"Not too shabby, Akame." Tatsumi said. "I'm getting fired up too."
With Mya:
"What's that energy?" Mya said. "I can't tell if it's Mama, Papa or anyone else. I felt this same energy coming from the tournament a while back. Hopefully, it isn't bad."
Tatsumi and Akame's battle:
Tatsumi landed powerful blows on Akame and kicked her into a rock. Akame exploded out of the rubble by firing energy blast at Tatsumi, but he evaded it.
The two of them continued their back and forth.
"I haven't been this worked up in a long time." Akame said.
"Sorry, Akame, but I'm not going to lose to you!" Tatsumi said.
Akame landed a vicious punch to the face and headbutted Tatsumi, but he responded with a knee to the face.
Akame fired another energy beam but Tatsumi cancelled it out with one of his own.
The two assassins went back to their back-and-forth melee over the water below.
"Just die already!!" Akame said as she fired a massive energy blast at Tatsumi, but Tatsumi managed to make it out of there before the blast exploded.
"I should've figured you'd live through that." Akame said.
"Stop it, Akame!" Tatsumi said. "You're just wasting your power!"
"This is only the beginning." Akame smirked.
"You know, it's pretty amazing, I've done nothing but train while I was in other world." Tatsumi said. "And yet here we are, evenly matched. Which means you've been putting yourself through it all to get stronger."
"What does it matter?" Akame said. "Sure, I've trained to get stronger, but your inborn talent makes it almost impossible to get ahead of you. Even after all these years, it remains the same. Don't deny it, I've known the truth ever since you fought that monster in Drakeo's ship. I couldn't believe it. How could I be forever outpaced by some random country boy... I was trained my entire life to be a deadly, lethal, and murderous assassin. But yet I was humanized by you. And seeing that, I knew what I had to do..."
"What? Akame? That was your reason?" Tatsumi said. "So, that's why you let Drakeo take control?"
"Yes, I thought of the fighters from the tournament who Drakeo controlled." Akame said. "Those two went from weaklings to something far more powerful. Once I remembered that, my plan came to be. I would fall to Drakeo's control to finally rid you from my life. I would say it worked like a charm, but I wasn't going to be his puppet."
