Chapter 65: Lars vs The Multiverse

"Tatsumi hasn't gathered any spirit energy other from his family and close friends." Megan said.

"Yes, and Akame asked nicely too." Kubo said.

"I'm begging you."  Akame said. "Lift up your hands... please."

"She even said please." Tatsumi said.

On Earth:

"I think I should raise them like she says." A mountaineer said as he put his hands to the sky.

"Nah man. Not worth it." Another mountaineer said.

The mountaineer's energy was absorbed.

"Woah, that was intense."  The mountaineer said, out of breath. "All my energy was sapped."

"It's a trap I knew it!" The mountaineer said.

The people of the earth were now believing it all was a trap.

On the World of the Priests:

"Goddammit." Akame said.

Meanwhile, the good Lars and Emperor Makoto were barely hanging on against Kid Lars.

Kid Lars grabbed them both with his retractable arm and held them up and began gut-punching them repeatedly.

"The fat Lars might die." Akame said. "The Emperor too."

Kid Lars tossed the good Lars and Emperor Makoto to the ground and prepared to kill the both of them.

"They won't last much longer!" Akame said.

"Damn this!" Takato Sai grabbed a rock and threw it at Kid Lars, and it hit him in the head.

Kid Lars turned his head towards Takato Sai but by doing so, Kid Lars spotted Tatsumi up above with the Incurse Bomb.

Kid Lars became viscerally angry.

"No, damn it!" Tatsumi said.

"He's on to us and he's mad!" Akame said. "I'll try to by you some time Tatsumi, but you'll have to convince the people of Earth."

"How are you supposed to buy time?!" Tatsumi said. "You haven't even gotten all your energy back yet!"

Akame confronted Lars who began mocking her.

Akame tried to attack Lars but was instantly punched in the gut by Lars.

"Akame!!" Tatsumi said.

"Tatsumi...... please hurry..." Akame said as she received a beating from Lars. "Tell them!!"

"People of earth!! We need your help!" Tatsumi said. "I need everybody's help, or this won't work!! Raise your hands! We're out of time!!!!!"

On Earth:

"Dad that voice!!" Ita said.

"Yes, that's where these voices are coming from." Latu said. "It's our old friend, Tatsumi. He and his people fight Lars on our behalf."

"Can you guys hear me?! We need your help!!"  Tatsumi said. 

"Yes, that is definitely Tatsumi's voice!" Ita said.

"Raise your hands, Ita." Latu said. "Everyone else as well!"

Everyone in the village raised their hands.

At Tatsumi's Village:

"Tatsumi sure does hand in there and come through no matter the obstacles he faces." a village woman said.

"Don't forget his Night Raid friends as well." an older woman said.

In a Forest:

"That's a blast from the past." Drone #7 said. "Long time since I've heard it, but we know that voice."
