"Never in my life have I encountered such a more disrespectful display. A truly shocking situation. And in my own house." Draco's father, Lucius, waited for the manor to clear out; then began to speak his mind to us. "I will have to take disciplinary measures regarding this incident."

Only a small group of us remained. Me, Draco and our friends. Harry, and his friends too.

We stood in a line in front of him, watching him pace back and forth. "My own son, planning a party behind my back."

"Father-"

"Silence, Draco! I will not ask you again." Lucius stopped, peering down at his son. "I come back to find my house blasting music with such profanity, and students climbing over each other on my office sofas and walls! Such an irresponsible act on your behalf."

"Father, we-"

"Enough! To think my bloodline shall continue with such an insolent boy is shameful! You are a disgrace to our good family name." He exhaled a great capacity of air, "Imagine if this information gets out. Imagine what they'd write about us in the local paper? Do you want us to be made out to be such fools, Draco? How careless do you have to be to forget our family image? How selfish do you have to be for forgetting your own father's public image, and the entire family I have built upon the Malfoy name?"

Draco swallowed, and hung his head between his shoulders.

"Our family image is everything to me! And your friends are just as responsible - And you-!"

He points his cane at me, "You... You are a plague to my son, to my family. And to my pure-breed bloodline. I want you out of my house. Immediately!"

Narcissa came down the stairs, "My dear, may we speak to Draco in private? And not with his friends?"

"No! We shall not. They're all equally responsible. And to think, I have very important guests arriving in two days time, and this is the state of my house. It is a mess!"

"The house elves will clear the mess up," Narcissa set her hand on Draco's shoulder. "They're only teenagers, Lucius."

"Draco is to turn eighteen in June - I can't have him running around with filthy half-bloods, and students who have nothing but a single worthless penny in their pocket!"

"I allowed them to have the party."

"Why?"

"Because they deserve to experience some fun," She defends us.

"Sir," Harry stepped forward, "I actually came to get my sister." He held a ball of tissues, catching the blood dripping out of his nose.

Theodore's appearance looked worse: a large bruise under his jaw, and a black eye forming fast over his left eye.

"Good. Get rid of her. I want none of you to step forth into my house ever again, unless I specifically ask for you."

Lucius cleared his throat, his cane disrupting the extremely uncomfortable tense which lingered throughout the air, in slow and uneasy taps to the floor tiles.

The silence became strangling.

"Now," He used the end of his cane to poke Draco's chest. "Go to your room, and stay there. Wash that horrible mess from your face, you look like a peasant."

I hold my arms over my chest, biting my lower lip to keep myself from saying anything I'd regret.

Draco turned and stumbled up the stairs towards his bedroom.

"Jane, you should go get your stuff." Harry told me.

I look to him, and Lucius spoke once more.

"Yes, do retrieve your belongings, and then leave. If I see you here any later than one o'clock, I'll be filing a report for trespassing."

I open the door to Draco's bedroom. Stepping inside, I close it behind me quietly.

Draco sat on the edge of his bed, resting his elbows on his knees.

"Draco-"

"Shut up, I don't want to hear it. Just fucking leave, Jane." He snapped.

I open my case and take out a pair of clothes. I walk to the farthest side of his bedroom and change out of my costume.

He didn't even bother to take a glance while I got changed into one of my jumpers and a pair of my jeans.

He seemed deflated, almost.

I pull my hair up into a high ponytail, and take my time walking to him. I stand at his side, gently using my fingers to lift his chin up.

He pulled his face back, and pushed my hand away. He got up, "Don't... Leave, before my father has your head."

What the hell is his problem?

"Alright, I'll leave." I roll my eyes, pulling my suitcase with me and out his bedroom door. I stop outside of it, noticing he followed me.

He took the door into his hand, his eyes tracing across my features.

I take a step towards him, brushing one of my curls behind my ear. "So, I'll see you at school?"

He clicked his tongue, but remained silent.

"Draco-?"

Thud.

He closed the door in my face.

I was completely speechless.

Staring at the dark wood for what seemed like ages, my mind ran marathons. My hands shaking, I rolled the suitcase down to the exit of the manor.

My Slytherin friends, and Luna were long gone. Leaving Harry, Ron, Hermione and Kage standing at the door - Waiting for me.

In Harry's arms, was Sniffles. Narcissa beside him, talking softly about my animal.

Lucius guarded the bottom of the staircase, blocking my path for a moment. "Do tread lightly on the way out of my door. I believe one of my elite guests has arrived early..." He said. "I do hope the correct people will find you, before the Ministry does, Miss. Potter. Or someone much worse than Cornelius Fudge."

What in Merlin's name did that mean?
