The Malfoy Manor hosted a party mostly every student from our year group found themselves in. Loads of older students from other year groups arrived too.

Originally, it was only supposed to be me, Draco, Pansy, Blaise, Luna, Theodore and Daphne - But Theodore and Pansy went a little crazy with their invitations. Soon, half of Hogwarts accepted invitations to our Hallowe'en party.

Draco didn't complain, basking in the popularity of the party they had arranged. His ego and pride growing by the minute.

Fortunately, Draco's mother (whom I learned was named Narcissa,) instructed us all not to worry about any breakage of vases or similar ornamental items; as long as they weren't used in any physical fights between other students.

Of course, she stayed in her bedroom incase one did break out.

Theodore used a spell to project loud music across the bottom floor of the manor, meanwhile Pansy had decorated the place with all different shapes and sizes of pumpkins, skeletons and other types of Hallowe'en decorations.

To say the least: Draco, Pansy and Theodore were pretty pleased about their party planning.

I stood in front of the mirror in Draco's bedroom, twisting my arm behind my back to pull up the zipper my dress. My costume was one we threw together with whatever Narcissa had in her closet. Draco insisted we wore costumes that matched, which wasn't anything I was opposed to.

Draco leaned against his doorframe, hands in his pockets. I had dressed him in his black suit, with his hair slicked back and a fake moustache drawn above his lip.

I picked the longest black dress I could find from his mother's wardrobe, and darkened my hair a tiny bit with an appearance spell.

"Draco?"

"Hm?" He hummed, his eyes trailing down the dress.

"Can you help me with this zipper?" I ask, holding the front of the dress in place.

He came up behind me, and takes the zip.

He tightened the dress, making eye contact with me in the mirror.

I felt the zip go down.

"Up." I scoff, "Up, Draco. It's to go up."

"Right." He smirked to himself, tugging it up slowly. "Of course."

Unfortunately, majority of people in the party didn't understand the reference to our costumes. Muggle-borns, and some half-bloods did.

They occasionally made jokes to Draco about being allergic to roses, and only liking the thorns - Perhaps the reason he dated me, because I did have a habit of losing my temper sometimes.

Or, my favourite joke - How he would get on his knees for me, and worship me like the so-called 'Goddess' I was.

We were lucky Draco's father wasn't in the building, otherwise he'd throw a fit if he knew Muggle-borns and half-bloods were freely roaming his living area and kitchen quarters.
