Fri. 25th November 1994 - 4:12pm...

Last weekend, Draco had spent the entirety of Sunday night in my bed. We both accidentally overslept, running around in the morning maniacally to make it to our first class on Monday morning.

Looking slightly disheveled too, I might add.

Dashing up the staircases to our Divination lesson, our laughs almost got us into trouble passing by the other quieter classrooms.

Luckily, Professor Trelawney didn't bat an eye whenever we arrived late; literally.

In preparation for the Yule Ball event, the Professors have allowed students who are attending, leeway to travel to Hogsmeade after school hours, and during the weekends - Ironic, if you ask me.

It's as though everyone forgot about me and Harry's lack of permission signatures, and tossed that rule out of the window.

Entering the cozy village of Hogsmeade, Luna skipped beside me to keep up.

"I am looking forward to the dance," She spoke, her hair bouncing lightly. "Have you been asked to the ball by anybody, Jane?"

"Yes, I have." I smile, "Draco's asked me."

"That's nice... I can see it in his eyes, he really admires you."

"Thank you, Luna... That's lovely to hear."

"I know." She said, taking ahold of my arm. "I might ask Blaise. He gets quite nervous when it comes to romance."

"Blaise? Blaise Zabini... gets nervous regarding romance?"

"Everyone becomes unsettled at some point in their lifetime. Some people have difficulty with their emotions, and that's alright. Everyone has different weaknesses, we all have them."

Recently, me and Luna have become better acquainted with one another. She'd often sit with us at breakfast and lunch, mostly to talk to Blaise. Now, she tries to talk to all of us, including our animals too.

Since she took care of my pets last year along with Draco, she's grown awfully fond of them. I'm happy to consider her one of my good friends now.

An earlier comment Blaise made about our interests were true, and she shared a bagful of crystals with me, before I came out to meet her today.

She had crafted a charmed bracelet for me as well, stating there was no use in her making me a necklace since I already wore one.

Sometimes during her free periods, she'd meet up with us, and walk us to class. Other times, she respected our wishes for alone time.

She's got quite the talent for reading people - Metaphorically and figuratively.

Upon approaching the boutique within Hogsmeade, she already began to suggest the best colours which would both match and contrast with my complexion.

Although we were shopping for her gown too, she was much more enthusiastic about finding mine first.

Opening the door to the shop, we immediately bump into Hermione carrying a large bag.
