Sunghoon & Nari

Nari's breath hitched as she saw Sunghoon enter the room. All the feelings from their trip to Italy came rushing back—the fun, the memories, the love, the pain. Sunghoon hadn't noticed her yet, his eyes scanning the room. Bora followed Nari's gaze, spotting Sunghoon, and her face lit up with excitement. She rushed over to him, her dress shimmering in the light.

"Sunghoon! You made it!" Bora exclaimed, wrapping her arms around him.

Sunghoon laughed, returning the hug. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

As they chatted animatedly, Nari slowly walked towards them, her heart pounding. Sunghoon's eyes found hers mid-laughter, and his smile softened as he took her in. Moon Nari had changed a lot since high school. Her hair was longer now, cascading in soft waves down her back. The glasses she used to wear were gone, revealing her beautiful dark eyes more prominently. She was a bit slimmer, her features more defined, yet she still had the same gentle aura about her.

Bora noticed Nari's arrival and stepped aside with a knowing smile. Sunghoon's gaze never left Nari as she approached.

"Nari," he said softly, a hint of awe in his voice.

"Sunghoon," she replied, her voice trembling slightly. They moved closer, and Nari's arms wrapped around his shoulders while his went around her waist. They tackled into a hug, Nari breathing in his familiar scent, memories flooding back. Sunghoon held her tightly, a smile spreading across his face.

"I missed you," Nari whispered.

Sunghoon chuckled, still in the hug. "I thought you said you wouldn't miss me."

She pulled back slightly, smiling up at him. "How have you been?"

"I've been... all over the place," he admitted. "Traveling, working. You know me."

Before Nari could respond, Bora slipped her arm around both of them. "Look at this! The gang's back together."

Sunghoon's eyes widened. "Jake's here too?"

Bora nodded. "Yeah, but he didn't come to the party. There was a bit of a mishap earlier."

Sunghoon sighed, the tension evident. He hadn't spoken to Jake in forever, and he wasn't sure how things would be between them now. Bora noticed his quiet contemplation and gave him a gentle nudge.

"Come on, go grab a drink and enjoy the party," she encouraged.

With that, the atmosphere lightened, and the party truly began. Sunghoon, Nari, and Bora mingled with the guests, laughter and conversation filling the air. Sunghoon found himself catching up with old friends, sharing stories of his travels, and enjoying the vibrant energy of the celebration. He couldn't shake the feeling of nostalgia mixed with a new sense of excitement for what was to come.
