Sunghoon & Nari
As they continued to roam around Venice, the streets were alive with the sounds of laughter, music, and the clinking of glasses from nearby cafés. The night was perfect, with a gentle breeze that carried the scent of the canal water mixed with the aroma of Italian cuisine.
Sunghoon and Nari lagged slightly behind Bora and Jake, who were engrossed in their own animated conversation. Sunghoon glanced over at Nari, noticing how the moonlight illuminated her face, highlighting her delicate features. He couldn't help but smile.
"So, what's one thing about you that most people don't know?" Sunghoon asked, breaking the comfortable silence between them.
Nari looked thoughtful for a moment. "Hmm, well, I guess not many people know that I love to bake. It's kind of my secret hobby."
"Baking, huh? That's interesting. What's your specialty?" Sunghoon asked, genuinely curious.
"Probably macarons," Nari replied with a shy smile. "They're tricky, but I've gotten pretty good at them."
Sunghoon's eyes lit up. "You'll have to make some for me one day. I love macarons."
Nari giggled. "Deal. But only if you promise to help me. They're a lot of work."
"Consider it a plan," Sunghoon said, his tone playful but his eyes sincere.
They walked a bit further, passing by a street performer playing a violin. The music added a romantic undertone to the night. Sunghoon looked at Nari, an idea forming in his mind.
"Hey, do you dance?" he asked suddenly.
Nari looked surprised. "Dance? Not really, why?"
"Because I think we should," Sunghoon said with a grin. "Come on, just for fun."
Before she could protest, he gently took her hand and led her to a small open space. The violinist's music filled the air, and Sunghoon placed his hand on her waist. Nari felt a rush of excitement mixed with nervousness as they started to sway to the music.
"I'm not very good at this," she admitted, looking up at him.
"You're doing great," Sunghoon assured her. "Just follow my lead."
They moved slowly, their steps uncoordinated but filled with laughter and shared glances. Nari felt a sense of freedom she hadn't experienced in a long time. Being this close to Sunghoon, feeling the warmth of his hand on her waist, made her heart race.
"You're a natural," Sunghoon teased, twirling her gently.
Nari laughed, almost stumbling but catching herself with his help. "I think you're just a good teacher."
They continued to dance, the world around them fading away as they focused on each other. After a few minutes, they stopped, both slightly breathless.
"That was fun," Nari said, her eyes shining.
