Sitting with Vania and her pals gave Harumi three things: Friends, popularity and gossip. Tox leaked so much information, one could assume she was an unstoppable faucet with how much hot talk she poured out. It was either about new trends, Clap Chats, or embarrassing moments she witnessed. Of course Vania gossiped too, with more juicer topics. Like about Antonia's parents' divorce, or Jamie's involvement with the police, or, more recently, Cole's mom's cancer.

"Did you hear about Lily Brookstone?" Vania asked, eyeing her new manicure as her friends ate their lunches.

"That their tour ended abruptly?" Tox question, looking up from her math assignment that was due next period. Vania shook her head, switching hands.

"Not that. Apparently she has cancer, a pretty bad one too," Vania said nonchalantly as if she hadn't revealed such a big horror. Tox's jaw dropped, along with her green pen. Harumi looked up from twirling her pasta.

"No way, where did you hear that?" Tox said, scooting in closer so not to miss any of this juicy gossip. Vania smiled sadly, laying her hands folded on the table.

"Around," She lied. Vania was never one to say where she got her stories from, which always made people question her veracity. "I should really express my sadness to Nicki, he must me devastated. You know how close he is to his mom."

Tox nodded, sighing. Looks like her math homework would have to wait. The trio got up to go to Cole's table only to be stopped by a cold faced Zane and Pixal.

"Where are you two going," Zane asked, scanning the three sharply. Vania rolled her eyes, placing her hands on her hips as she shot Zane a glare.

"To tell Nicki how sorry I am for him and his mother, of course," Zane looked taken a back, but Pixal held firm in her glare.

"And why would you know about that?" Pixel sneered, hands folding across her chet as she stared Vania down. Zane stole a glance from Kai before signalling them to leave the cafeteria with a tilt of his head.

"I'm his girlfriend-"

"Ex-Girlfriend." Pixea interjected, earning a glare from Tox. Vania rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed by the two.

"What ever, I'll just send him a text since you guys won't let me see him," Vania spun on her heel, the other two girls following her closely behind. Pixel dropped her glare with a huff.

"I really do not enjoy Vania's presence," She sighed, as the two made their way to the usually non cafeteria group eating spot.

"Neither do I," Zane agreed.
