"And so now my mom has to drive me everywhere because she took my car away for two weeks," Lloyd sighed.
"That's rough buddy," Kai said, patting Lloyd on his shoulder.
"Not the best experience for your first actual party, was it?" Cole asked, scrolling on his phone.
"Nope, but-" Lloyd was interrupted by the loud bell. "Oh well see yall at lunch." The group dispersed and went in the direction of their classes.

"Do you think we'll finally do something in Mr. Damer's class?" Nya asked as she and Jay walked into their robotics class. Over the past two months, the class did nothing but talk about robots and safety with robots, which was necessary of course, but bored most of the students to death.
"I don't know, it didn't take two months last year to get things going," Jay shrugged, taking a seat at a table near the back of the class. Nya sat down next to him, folding her arms on top of the table, creating a pillow for her head to rest on.
"Yeah, because it took three."
"Good morning class!" Mr. Damer greeted, fixing his double-lensed circular glasses. The class responded in inaudible greetings due to their lack of enthusiasm for learning so early in the morning.
"Today we will start planning robots for the robotic competition in March," Mr. Damer said folding his hands behind his back. Some of the class, who were participating in that competition, cheered happily, while the other groaned, not wanting to do work.
"We will use the groups created in the last meeting of the robotics club to plan designs. SO please go with your groups," Mr. Damer pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose before sitting down at his desk.
Jay and Nya wre luckily in the same group so they didn't move. A pink haired freshman joined them at their table.
"Sora right?" Nya asked, trying to remember the girl in front of her. Sora nodded.
"You're in student council right? I remember Lloyd talking about you," Jay remembered.
"Yup that's me. It's nice to formally meet you guys. Your robots have won competitions since you gusy were in middle school!" Sora smiled. Nya chuckled softly.
"Yeah, and that streak isn't going to end, so let's get planning." Nya said. Sora nodded.
"Aren't there supposed to be four to a group?" Jay asked, wondering where their fourth person was.
"Yes there is." A red head said, taking a seat next to Sora. "It's nice to see you Sora."
Sora smiled awkwardly. "I'm sorry, do I know you?"
The girl's face dropped. "Um, it's me Jordana? The girl who's been in your class since pre-school?"
Sora's face lit up in realization. "You're the girl who used the scare kids with your little magic right? I remember you,"
Jordana scoffed. "My magic wasn't little."
"Okay..." Jay said, trying to break the tension. "Let's get started shall we?"
