"You know i've never understood how some people could bake." Cole stated, leaning against the kitchen counter as Seliel poured the cake batter into a cooking tin. She raised an eyebrow at Cole's remark. "Like cooking is one thing, and honestly way easier, but baking is a whole new thing, especially with all the measurements and stuff."
"What, you don't measure stuff out when you're cooking?" Seliel asked, using a spatula to get the rest of the dough out. Cole shakes his head. "Good, cuz I don't either. I was actually starting to question if you were black or not."
"Haha very funny. But I am half white if we are going there." Cole said, licking the remaining batter off of the spoon.
"I know that you are, but I can hardly sense the white in you." Seliel laughed, sliding on her mittens. Cole nods.
"Yeah I get that a lot, its probably because my mom is black and because I stay with her more than my dad." Cole shrugs. Seliel hums in acknowledge ment before opening the oven and placing the cake inside. She grabs her phone setting a time for twenty five minutes for the cake to bake.
"This date was a great idea since I have actually been craving cake for a while now," Seliel said, tossing Cole a sponge to wipe the island down with. Cole nods, only to pause and groan. "What? You don't agree?"
"Nah it's just that I have a wrestling competition this Friday and I need to be losing weight for my category." Cole remembered.
"Dang that sucks. I used to have to go on strict diets when I was a ballet performist and pagenter. It was honestly the worst. Salads and broccoli were not the foods I wanted when I was a child." Seliel shuddered at the memory of her past.
"At least you got to eat something. The only thing I'll be living on for the next 6 days is protein powder and water." Cole whined, dropping the sponge back into the sink as he grabbed a towel to wipe down the table.
"Oh so you work out?" Seliel asked leaning forward. Cole nods, pulling p his sleeve to flex his muscles.
"Damn. I've never met a more muscular Sixteen year old. How often do you go to the gym." Seliel looked at her phone to see fifteen minutes left on her timer. Cole shrugs.
"I don't know, like everyday after school? It's kind of a hobby. Also because I do have the platinum membership at Ninjago Fitness." Cole remarked. Seliel's eyes widened.
"Platinum? Don't they only give those to the extreme gym goers?" Seliel questioned. Cole nodded, slipping into the seat next to Seliel.
"I've won some strong man competitions here and there, but I bet they don't add up to the amount of Princess pageants you've won." Cole teased. Seliel blushed, playfully pushing Cole's shoulder. Her hand clasp at his strong biceps. Damn they are real alright.
"Oh puh-lease. I've won a lot and because of my mother, I'm still doing them, which is why I'm so pretty." Seliel joked. Cole rolled his eyes playfully.
"Yeah and way to dainty to pull some weights." Seliel's mouth dropped.
"Oh really? Well at least I have style, the only thing you wear to school is gym clothes." Seliel shot back. Cole shook his head with a chuckle.
"I'll start expanding my closet when you start going to the gym with me. You've got so much potential. And don't take any offense to this but those thighs are honestly killing me bro. So thic it's crazy." Seliel blushed like crazy hopping off the counter and back around to the oven.
"Wow. You know I'll go to the gym with you if I get to plan your outfits. You have so much potential. I bet your muscles will pop with the right polo shirt." Seliel leaned over, pulling the cake out of the oven.
"So do you decorate cakes?"
Turns out Cole wasn't only a music artist, and a gym artist, he was also an artist-artist and somehow managed to create a one and a kind beaut of a cake. Seliel found it difficult to pull her jaw off the floor from where it was dropped.
"Omg," Was all she could utter as she stared at the beautiful swirls of the ganache frosting chocolate cake. Cole stood over it proudly with a large goofy grin on his face. "Just wow honestly."
"Why thank you." Cole laughed, taking a small bow.
"I'm posting this, everywhere." Seliel said, grabbing her phone from the table and opening up instagram. She quickly moved around the cake taking pictures in various angles, Cole astonished at her photography skills.
After spending five minutes scrolling and deleting a bunch of the photos she took, Cole and Seliel finally decided on a photo.
"#cake #baking #couple goals." Seliel paused looking at Cole confirming the last hashtag.
"If you want to be than sure."
Seliel smiled before sending out the post. "Well my new boyfriend, looks like I'll be planning your outfits and going to the gym."
