Yashmin's POV
I had always bear witness to Sarafena and my granddad arriving in her circle of light but this time, I was the passenger and everybody else the onlookers. We arrived in the living room where it seemed my family had been waiting.
"Yash", shouted my mother as she ran and enveloped me into an hug.
"I know she could do it", said my dad as he hugged my mother and I.
Grandma Yashseana stood unshaven while grandma Jenessa wore a smile.
"Let me see my grandchild" said my granddad as she spun me around studying me in detail.
When he was finished. He gave me a tight hug and then he went to greet Sarafena.
"Sarafena!", I heard him shout with pain in his voice. Sarafena wore her war wound with pride.
"What's wrong", I heard my mother said as she appoarched Sarafena. Soon everybody's attention was on her and loud gasps ringed out in the room.
"What happened to your eye", asked my mother.
"The demon took it, right before I defeated him", said Sarafena.
"Defeated him?", asked my grandmother as she step forward to face Sarafena.
"Yes defeat him", she responded.
Yashseana started laughing hysterically. Which I felt was very rude. What's so funny in that. I thought as I watched her walk away.
My grandfather cupped her cheek into his hand, "my dear Sarafena, am so sorry about this. I didn't mean for this to happen", he all teary eyed.
"It's ok John, I don't mind I would do it all over again", responded Sarafena.
"Come let's rest", said granddad to her, as he led her to the guess room.
"What happened ", asked my mom as Sarafena left the room.
"The demon took her sight by penetrating her eye ball with its tongue, right before she ended him and save me", I said trying to squeeze in all the details in at once.
Sarafena POV
I felt absolute peace. John was being more emotional towards me than he had ever been since I have known him but I guessed he understand the great lost I had suffered. He sat beside me as I laid in bed giving him detail by detail of everything happened. All except the part where the demon was trapped within me. That wasn't a conversation I was ready to have.
Eventually I felt asleep due to exhausted and when I awoke, I woke to a visit from the wicked ghost of the west.
"I know you didn't defeat him, I know what you really did. I can see the toll it as already take on you. Look how exhausted you are. You must expell this demon and send it back into the spirt realm where it belongs", said Yashseana.
"And risk it coming after Yashmin again, no way", I said.
"Yashmin doesn't need you to protect her from him, she will learn to protect herself. She is a spirit walker and besides if her mother weren't powerless she would of went in there and kicked his ass herself", Yashseana continued.
"Well I guess we have you to thank for her being powerless. And now nobody as to because he isn't there and that's how it will stay", I said.
That's a stupid move, you do know you are just another vessel. It soul can posses", warned Yashseana as she walked away.
The next day
Yashshauna's POV"What are you doing" asked Murron.
"Preparing the welcome dinner", I responded
"You do know your daughter was just kidnapped yesterday, right", he asked.
"Yes am aware but it's time this is done. Dad has to leave soon. To return to rest of the clan. So this dinner must be done before he leaves", I said as I continued preparing.
Pretty soon I was done, dinner happened. Melissa and I throw a few verbally punches at each other as usual and that was that.
The kids and Melissa are safe, Yashmin is safe. It was a good feeling.
Yashseana's POV
"Time is nearing my love", I said to John.
"Nearing for what", he asked.
"For your mom and I to go home", I told him.
"I came, I did what I had to, to protect our child the way. I promised you I always would", I said.
"Yes I know and for that I am thankful", said John
"That means she will have her powers back soon?", he asked.
"Yes the moment we leave, she'll have them back. And that moment is very soon upon us. I just wanted to say I love you and I'll wait on you. Just the way we planned", I reminded him.
He kissed my cheek loving, as I left his side in search of my girls. I know my time was almost through and I just needed to hug them.
I found them sitting together in the back yard and I hugged them whole heartedly. They seemed shocked and speechless.
"Always remember, I love you both. That both of you are strong powerful women. All you both need to do is believe in yourselves and there won't be nothing beyond your grasp", I said to them. "Now I must go."
"Go where?" asked Yashshauna.
"From where I came", I told them.
They both seemed disappointed and generally sad. But I didn't understand why. I have been very mean to both of them. I waited on Jenessa to say her goodbyes and then we both left.
Yashshauna's POV
The moment mom left my eyes glowed blue and just like that my powers were back. And I was happy about it expect now, everybody kept on leaving. I just say goodbye to my mom and Grandma.
Now I was saying I goodbye to my dad and Sarafena as they prepared to leave.
I gave them both a warm hug. But when I hugged Sarafena, I heard a sinister laugh and felt impending doom. She felt like death.
And I thought I must be imagining things. Until they were just about to form their circle of light to leave the way that did was often and I saw Sarafena's eyes changed to black.
"Did you see", I asked hoping Yashmin and Murron saw too.
"Yes its Kool how they do that, isn't it", said Murron.
"Bye granddad", shouted Yashmin.
And that's was when I knew I was on my own with whatever was about to happen next.
I shivered as cold bumps took over the surface of my once smooth skin.
Word from author
All I can say is, I hope Yashshauna is actually seeing things. I can't deal with a possessed Sarafena right now.
Can you?
