Yashshauna's POV

I open my eyes and once again I was being cuddled by familiar darkness.

"What do you want from me", I shouted put into the darkness.

No response came but then the place started to become more lit as a round table appear; with four beings sitting around it. One male and three females but this time I recognized them well as I tried to swallow the lump which was forming in my throat.

I blink and the lump I felt in my throat was actually Yashon's  hand on my neck lock tight.

"You are a disgrace to me, a disgrace to us. You , your child and husband are vile abominations who should not be allowed to walk this earth."

He opened his mouth to continue but before he could. My mom threw him across the room. Or atleast I thought it was a room. It was literally an area of darkness with an area of light; where the ancestors sat.

Yashon got up , brushed off his clothes and walked back to the table where the others sat.

He turned to Yashanna my grandmother and spoke, "Your child condones the action of her child and she is just has bad. I go to the discipline the child and she threw me across the room."

"What do you expect; grabbing the neck of her child  Yashon. Two wrongs cannot make a right", said Yashanna.

"Which is right", responded Yashmin. "We are here to settle matters, let's do it the correct way."

I heard them all speaking but the loudest thing in the room was the look of disappointment that lingered on my mother's face.

She had no right, after all I was brought here because they wanted to kill my daughter.  If anyone should be giving disapproving looks, it should be me.

I watched as my mom stood up and tap the table twice the way Yashmin had did the last time and her relatives went slient. Surprise written over all their faces; except Yashmin who wore a beautiful smile.
Within an instant my paternal line was present.

"Why did you do that", said Yashon.

"What is that Yashon", asked my dad's mother; my grandma.

"Nothing responded Yashon.

"Oh I thought so, I will never understand how my son got mixed up with your family. I think everyday that if it wasn't for your daughter's beauty and my son's need for a damsel in distress. I wouldn't have to be dealing with you for an eternity. And you are still quite beautiful; my sweet daughter in law but it seems death and lost has darken your heart."

My mom looked up at my grandmother and smiled kindly.

"So we are here for the vote, let's vote", who thinks Yashmin should die. Raise your hands and as soon as we are finished I will kill her myself ", said Yashon.

It was in that moment that I knew; Yashon would die at my hands. I just had to figure out how to kill him, what was already dead.

The McClearies looked at each other briefly after Yashon's comments about killing Yashmin.

My mother looked rather aggravated.

"Show of hands who....."

"That will not be necessary", said my grandmother on my father's side. We have decided to accept the child into out bloodline. Afterall we are family too."

"What ?", asked Yashon.

"Yashmin will be allowed to live Grand dad. That is what", said my mom. All without smiling.
