Yashshauna's POV

I opened my eyes and the scenery before me changed. It seem as if I was no longer in the dark forest.

But I couldn't be sure. The darkness I was surrounded by felt familiar. I watched as the surroundings lit up completely.

I saw a round table appear with four beings sitting around it; three females and one male. I didn't recognized any of them, except for the one that was supposedly my mother.

"Where am I and who are you?, I asked.

They looked at each other before my mother spoke. "Surely you recognize your own mother."

"Of course I do but who are the others?", I asked.

"To my right is your grand mother Yashanna, and my left your great grand father Yashon. Direct before me is Yashmin, the first McMelon and your great great grandmother."

"Oh so why am I here?"

"You have been summoned by your maternal line. For we now require the payment you promised?"

"What payment did I promised."

"I remember you came to us pleading for us to accept your demon child. We did and today we demand sacrifice. She must die to purify our line", said my mother.

All others were slient and just observing.

"I cannot kill my child"

"Child, your child is gone. What you now look upon is a monster, that seeks only blood to calm its desires. And I know deep down you know it too, we say it through your eyes", responded my mother. They all knodded in agreement except for Yashmin. My great, great grandmother.

"Are you spying on me, you and my other dead relatives."

Hisses erupted from the table. "Child you are being disrespectful. As heir, as future queen to the four Clans and as a daughter of the McMelons. You have the ability to called upon your maternal line for any assistant and aid when you may need to. You stand not alone when you take your shadow form, you tap into all our powers. So if it's is we look through your eyes it's a small price to pay", stated Yashon.

"Now you know that's not entirely true. We are indeed spying my child", said Yashmin.

"Yashmin how can you defend her, daddy is right she is out of line", said Yashanna.

"She may have access to all our strengths and ability but you all know very well she has not tapped into it as yet. He is yet to fully tap into her abilities", responded Yashmin.

Her voice was like a lalla-bye being song; gentle, sweet and comforting.

"Well with all due respect great grandmother. My child needs to pay her debt. And we demand payments."

"We or you three? Am quite fine with the child", responded Yashmin.

"The child carries darkness with her, we will not allow it to dirty our blood line", said Yashon.

"Well if that's how you all feel. Let us do this the right way", said Yashmin as she knock the table twice.

The once round table was now square. Surprise was written on the faces of her son, his daughter and my mother.

She then hold one hand up in the air.

"Wait, wait", shouted Yashon. "Am sure we can settle this matter on own mother."

"Am sorry, I don't think we can", she reponse.

She then snap her fingers once and her chair shifted to the center of the lower part of the table. She snapped her fingers again and the remaining three decesdants seats moved and appear on her left changing positions. She snapped her fingers the third time and in came four beings.
