Back at school

Yashmin's POV

It's been two weeks since my birthday. Things was getting back to normal. I thought as I sat in the school cafeteria with Leona, Lily, Lilian, Mark and Dew.

"So Leona, I heard your mom vanished from the looney bin and turned up at home. What did she have to say about that?", Dew asked.

"What ?.........you told him Yash?", Leona asked.

"Yes of course she told us. Leona if you wanna be apart of this group. You have to know there is no secrets between us. We share everything together", Lilian said.

"Yes we do", everybody said in union.

"So tell us, what happened?", said Lily.

"She said she was discharged and on her way home while we were on our way there. Claim the person who spoke to us made a mistake", Leona said.

"That doesn't sound right to me", Mark said.

"That's all she know guys, let's just leave it", I said.

"Speaking of no secrets. I have something to tell you Yashmin. I have been waiting on the perfect moment to tell you", Leona said.

"What is it ?", I asked.

"I met someone" she said.

"What how long have you been keeping this from me?", I said giggling all excitedly.

"Not long I met him about three weeks now. And the good news is. His parents transfered him to this school. So you will get a chance to meet him today. Today is his first day", she said.

"I can't wait, I am so happy for you. Alot has been going wrong in your life. It's time something goes right", I said.

"Oh there he is now", she said as she waved and smiled.

I looked up and was distracted by Maxwell walking over to where I was. Why is he even here. Was he going to start stalking me now. I thought to myself as he waved at me all toothy.

I continue to watch him as he walked over. Greeted us and kissed Leona on her cheek.
Wait why is Maxwell kissing Leona on her cheek.

"Yash this is him. His name is Max. He is my boyfriend?", she said.

I felt my heart shattered in a million pieces as I gave my best fake smile that I could find. "Excuse me", I said vanishing quickly to the one place in school I could console my self in private.

Lily and Lilian following swiftly behind. Dew and Mark laughing and shaking his hand oblivious to the fact that he was the same guy, I been crushing on since I met him. The same guy that left the party before they got there, the guy I was to betrothed to. Between  us six, only Lily,  Lilian And I know Max is actually Maxwell.

"I told you she was a b***h", Lily said drying my tears.

"You think she knows, she couldn't know. She has never met him and I have never told her about him. How could she have known but Maxwell is aware. What is he doing here and as Leona's boyfriend", I said in between sobbing.

"Never mind girl we are here for you", said Lilian as she embraced me in a hug.

"Do we have to go back out there", I asked .

"We have an empty session before dismissal. Let's go hide out in the library", said Lilian.

"I'll do you one better, let's leave now", said Lilian.

"HOW DO YOU SUGGEST WE PULL THAT OFF", I responded angrily.

"You do know we are all supernatural beings right with the plus of you being a weird high breed. This will be easy. Trust me. Just let me send a message to the boys and we will be out in no time", said Lilian.

I turned to look at Lilly and she was smiling confidently. Both our phones went off in union.

We open and scroll down.

Lilian: Boys met us at our secret place later.

Think she think that was actually enough to get us out. Lilian was more niave than she let on.

Within a minute Lily popped opened the bathroom door. And a thick fog was spread out wide and far in the school.

It was so thick it was almost difficult for me to see through. I almost forgot that my cousin was a Climagieist. Fogs inside, very much unlikely. Dew interference much more likely.

"Let's move quickly", said Lilian.

We quickly left the bathroom and stepped into the fog. We were leaving through the side door so we had to go back into the cafeteria.

On our way out we could hear Mark and Dew talking to Maxwell and Leona. Acting as if they weren't aware as to what was taking place. Acting scared of all things. My friends were unbelievable.

We could to the side door but it was locked. We were pushing against it but couldn't get through.

"Hurry up!", said Dew communicating telepathically.

"We are trying, it's stuck", said Lilian.

"Ok am coming", responding Mark.

It was so cool how we could communicate with each other without actually talking. It's something Leona will never have especially not now.

Mark could manipulate locks seeing he was a poltergeist.

"Move!", Mark said once more telepathically.

We shift and just in time as a strong with came which flung the door open.

"Thank you", said Lily.

I looked back, Mark and Dew smiled devilishly as they winked at me. Maxwell eyes looked straight into mine before he looked away again.

Before you knew it we were out the side door and deep into the forest at the secret place we built together. It's been a while since we came here. After De-lu-ly's attack. We avoided coming here.

Jaunce POV
Meeting with darkness

"Do you have her", she asked.

"No she escaped", I said.

"What do you mean escaped?"

"Yashmin has gotten stronger, she was able to free herself and kill several of my men while doing it."

"Sure sound like incompetence to me."

"Why didn't you do it yourself if you are so capable", I said.

"Excuse me!!"

"I lost my bestfriend doing your bidding and I am done with you."

"Done with me, I'll burn this village to the ground  starting with you", she said as she snapped her fingers and flames overtook me.

As I felt my soul leaving my body, her final words.

"Her parents took De-lu-ly and they are gonna pay. No more delay. No more dragging my feet. I will destroy Yashmin and her entire race especially now that Leona is om my side", she said laughing menacingly.
