Quinn
Blue Spekter, the superhero alter ego of teenager Quinn McAlester, waited patiently behind the vehicle-sized containers in the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. His partner, Helion, checked around the perimeter to get a good view of the situation. A reliable source of Helion's caught wind of a drug deal about to transpire there tonight, which is why they were scoping the place, on a school night, no less.
They could have easily descended from the sky, in full glowing mode and knocked the dealers and their guards on their asses. He was after all Blue Spekter: the world's first real-life superhero. Helion temporarily went to the dark side and wreaked havoc under the name Dark Flame, but he came around in the end, and Blue Spekter couldn't be more grateful to have his best friend back. Since no one could be sure if tonight's transaction was real, both his partner and the police chief believed it was better to catch them in the act.
Even their geeky science-teacher-slash-mentor-slash-superhero-and-supervillain-consultant, Mr. Ron St. Germain, agreed to the idea. "You wouldn't wanna get caught in the wrong wind and end up making a fool of yourself" were his exact words.
Twenty minutes passed before the cavalry arrived.
"Blue Spekter, come in," Helion's voice whispered in his ear comm. "How's it going on your end?"
Blue Spekter peeked around the container. Several hundred yards away, he could see a group of six Asians disembark a speedboat to greet what looked like a bunch of seven Latinos in black suits. A middle-aged Asian man was ordering his broad-shouldered lackeys to unload some stacked crates. It would've been impossible to see what they were doing if not for his super vision to close the distance.
Using his innate ability to sense Helion's location, he detected him standing somewhere high above. He glanced up at the yellow crane he knew Helion hid on top of.
"I'm in position," he answered with a whisper. "No one has noticed me. It looks like they're about to begin the exchange. The cops are hiding in a building on the other side of the shipyard."
"I'm gonna fly down so we can get clear footage of the smuggling, and make sure they're in the midst of handing over the cash before we corner them. Got my back?"
Blue Spekter grinned and whispered. "Always. Just remember not to make any sound."
Helion groaned through the ear comm. "Yeah, yeah. Be ready to alert Chief Applegate when I give ya the signal."
"No need," said a new voice that belonged to Chief Tina Applegate, "I hear you guys loud and clear. Just give the signal and we'll be ready to storm the place."
"Understood." Gosh, I hope the signal doesn't include explosions.

Blake
Helion, Blake Hargreaves's alter ego, steadied the video camera in his hands. He had flown to the top of the crane in invisible mode before making himself visible again. It would've been safer to stay invisible, but he needed to be able to see the camera in order to press the right buttons. The last thing they needed was for him to accidentally press something that might delete all recorded footage. Not that anyone would have seen or heard him. His super senses were far greater than any ordinary human. The screen came on and he made sure it was on record before doing his vanishing act again. The camera disappeared with him.
He jumped off the girders and let himself fall several feet before halting his descent with his mind. His body obeyed and pretty soon he was soaring through the air toward the gangs until he stopped just about four feet above them. Feeling the cloaked camera in his hand, Helion adjusted it to take in the goons unloading the boat.
