Kylie
After taking a morning shower, Kylie went back to her room to change. She removed the towel from her middle and put on a white top and undies.
"Nice."
Panic set in at the new voice. She whirled around to find Lucas lying on her bed with his hands behind his head and his feet crossed. The muddy brown shirt made him look like a model at a photoshoot. His amused chuckle both irritated and endeared her.
She sighed and pressed a hand over her thumping heart. "Seriously?"
He chuckled again. "Sorry. Just missed you a bit. Don't worry. Miranda's in her room with Perry, so I didn't get caught."
Like I'm worried.
She walked to the bed and laid down next to him. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, sending comfort and warmth into her. She silently welcomed it. Today was going to be a long day, and she needed this.
"So Burnett told me what happened last night when the alarm went off," Lucas said.
Kylie sighed. Of course Burnett would tell Lucas about Blue Spekter. He trusted him, after all. And Burnett didn't trust easily, especially when someone made a bad first impression (that being Blue Spekter) or had lied to him (like Hayden Yates and Chase).
I can only imagine how upset you must be.
"I'm not upset you didn't tell me, I'm just curious," he assured. "You got to meet Blue Spekter."
Kylie pushed herself out of his embrace to face him with a chuckle. "You like the guy?"
Lucas shrugged. His blue eyes were calm and sincere, a rare openness he only ever showed in front of her as opposed to his normally serious look in front of the Were Council. She was glad he trusted her with his vulnerable side.
"It happened a little fast," she admitted. "He just showed up without me knowing. I had no idea he was even coming before the ghost told me."
He widened his eyes in surprise. She told him how the ghost woman popped up moments before she realized Blue Spekter was at the school.
"What did she want?"
She shrugged, and answered, "I don't know." It wasn't a lie. She didn't actually know what the spirit wanted, though she had a few theories, but he didn't need to know that. "But I want to find out. Which is why I'm going to be his tour guide today."

Quinn
Daddio gave directions while Dad took driving duty. That left Quinn and Keegan sitting in the backseat. They did pretty much nothing but chitchat; Keegan talked about the manga robotic cat with the endless amount of futuristic gadgets. Quinn couldn't help but laugh at some of the plots.
How is it that Doraemon could stop time with a timer, create an entire valley, make a whole new universe with a phone booth, but not handle a rat? More importantly, how does a cat get scared by a rat?
He didn't care, though. He just enjoyed every moment with his boyfriend. He wondered if he'll ever get used to it.
"Look at this," said Keegan while pointing at a picture of Doraemon putting an antenna-like device on top of a dog's head. "Noby used it to play pranks on his mom, and when Big G bullied him, he tried to use it to prank him until it fell off and broke. Imagine their reaction when Big G went full Hulk on the two of them."
Quinn laughed with him. "Bet Noby was all cocky when he saw use of it. That boy is so lame when he is lazy. And Doraemon just picks up all the slack without a second thought."
