Chapter 91 - I've always liked that about you

"Michiyo, I don't know what your relationship with this guy is but I hope you won't lose sight of what you must see and do." Tokoyami said to Michiyo while holding Hawks close to him. He needed to get away from here as soon as possible; fire and him were a very bad matchup because he won't be able to utilize Dark Shadow's ability to its maximum strength. He needed to get away and give aid to Hawks but at the same time he's worried because Michiyo seemed to know Dabi and he didn't want to leave her with him. 

"You say you will stop me, Michiyo...but can you really do it?!" Dabi shot out a straight line of blue fire at Tokoyami's way! Michiyo quickly got in front and she created a wall of diamonds to block out the fire!

'It's too cramped! If Michiyo wasn't here, I wouldn't have been able to dodge all of the attack!' Tokoyami looked at the now crying Dark Shadow; he won't be of much use with Dabi's fire creating light. 'That guy's fire is not burning through Michiyo's diamond. I hate to say this but I have to get out of Michiyo's way and let her fight without protecting Hawks and I!' Tokoyami had to escape. He will need to find an opportunity to fly away if possible! 

"He's...still talking..." Hawks whispered weakly. 

"Huh?" Tokoyami looked at Hawks. What did he mean by that? 

"Think about it, you BBQ'd birds. Who do you really think needs rescuing?"

"Dabi..." Michiyo's diamond wall slowly broke down when Dabi stopped shooting fire at them. 'He's really doing this. He's really going to do this...' She thought to herself. 

"Teacher, your order?" Tokoyami whispered. 

'Because he was too focused on his conversation with me, he didn't manage to finish me off. But he's doing the same thing again. I don't think it's because it's easy for him. He's trying to throw us off guard and stall for time! The flames he released just now were a lot weaker than before. Which means he can't fire in succession anymore so...' Hawks could barely talk due to thirst but he managed to utter words only Tokoyami could hear. "Now...go..." 

Tokoyami made a run for it! He's going to jump down one floor and escape! 'I can't drag Michiyo down!' He thought as Dark Shadow grabbed the railing in order to swing Tokoyami to the floor below!

"You think I will let you leave?!" Dabi fired at Tokoyami's way yet again!

Michiyo got in the way and she created a wall to block off the fire! "Tokoyami!" 

Tokoyami landed on the floor below but Hawks was passed out due to impact of the fall! 

"Dabi...!" If she could catch Dabi, this will be the end of it!

But Dabi did not want to be caught. He jumped away from where the diamond flowers will bloom. 'I don't think Michiyo notices but before her diamond flowers form sprout and capture anyone, some sort of magic circle forms on the ground. As long as I jump away before it forms, she can't catch me.' Dabi thought as he escape from being caught. 

Michiyo clapped her hands and she cupped her hands together! 

"...?!" Michiyo was trying to catch Dabi by trapping him in a cube made of diamonds but Dabi shot flames at the ground to push himself up so he could be in the air for longer! He landed on top of the diamond cube! "Clever, Michiyo. You made me think you can only form diamonds from the ground but you can actually form them in the air." 

She didn't say anything because holding a conversation was stalling for time! She made the diamonds on top of the cube collapse, hoping to drop him in but Dabi jumped off to the side! 

"Wait! Dabi!"

Tokoyami was still on the floor below! He's about to take off on his Dark Angel move!

"Dabi! Stop!"
