Aizawa had to tell those who were still in the dorm. It was time to reveal to them exactly what happened with Ranfa the whole time. He gathered everyone in the common room area and he started to tell everyone the events that transpired. How Ranfa went to rescue Yuuki on her own and ended up dying once; how Yuuki revived her by trading in her aura's greatest healing power, how Midoriya and him found Ranfa in pain because her own Quirk backfiring on her; how Ranfa was unable to control it, and how the whole time Ranfa was hospitalized in secret and the only way to stop her own Quirk from hurting her was to put her to sleep. Aizawa looked at everyone to see most of them were shocked by the revelation. Of course they were shocked; no one knew what happened exactly.
Kaminari, Jirou, Mina, Mineta, and Shouji were not that shocked compared to the classmates who remained at the dorm the whole time because a villain's attack accidentally revealed to them of her location.
Michiyo's hand was against her mouth as she cried.
Aizawa hated seeing Michiyo cry. For some reason when she's crying, it made him feel like a dad going on protective mode. He walked over to her and he patted her on the head. "I didn't tell you because a lot of things were happening. The Provisional License Exam, Hero Work-Studies, and rescuing a very unfortunate little girl...I'm sorry for hiding it from you the whole time, Michiyo. The whole class too. I know you're all worried about her deep down. I'm sorry for not saying a thing but it was a joint decision by all the teachers to put all of your future first before Ranfa. Ranfa would have wanted everyone to keep walking forward even if she's on a standstill." Aizawa rarely had any issues with Ranfa; Ranfa was one of those students where you didn't need to keep an eye on them. She's disciplined and she tend to resolve things herself without an adult. In an educational perspective, she's a good student. Personally, Aizawa thought Ranfa could learn to rely on adults every now and then. If she let herself trust in others a little, will she feel cornered like she did?
"I wish I could have been there for Onee..." Michiyo said with tears flowing down her cheeks. "Why is it she's always alone when these terrible things keep happening to her? I don't want her to keep suffering all on her own...Onee..."
"You and Ranfa are similar, Michiyo. You both put others first over yourselves. That's why I think Ranfa will choose to end that villain's life and refuse to apologize if she gets to choose again for real. Even if she's vilified, she will stick to what she believes in. No one have to agree with her, but I wish for everyone to see the origins of the choices she made." When Aizawa said that, it got everyone think back.
Why did Ranfa choose to end the villain's life back in camp? Why did she choose to stain her own hands with blood? It was to protect everyone. She made the choice to stain her own hands so the others won't have to do it.
"When Ranfa comes back, I'm going to apologize properly." Kaminari felt bad for gaslighting her. Honestly, seeing Kirishima and Ranfa not being together made him feel bad. He felt like he separated them the whole time. After being attacked by a villain and being rescued by her again, he remembered why he was happy when they went to the same Internship; she's reliable, strong, and always put herself in front of danger so those behind her were safe.
Todoroki walked over to Michiyo, "Michiyo, don't be sad." He held his left hand out to her, "Let's greet your sister with a smile when she comes back, okay?"
"Hm..." Michiyo held his hand and she promised him she will stop crying somehow.
"Take your time. Breathe. It will become a little easier. Do you want me to make you a warm compress?"
"Hm."
Bakugou sighed and he suddenly said he's going out to buy some stuff. Yuuki followed him.
