Chapter 51 - For her

Yoarashi Inasa from Shiketsu High School made the initial phase of the Provisional License Exam look very easy. The test require the many students to wear three targets on them that will light up if it's hit by three balls. Each students will have 6 balls on them and they need to target two students to pass. Yoarashi managed to knock out 120 students in one go and he bagged himself a place for the next phase.

"Only 99 place left. I wonder who will be next~!" He sat there with a stupidly giddy face while waiting for the next person to come in. "OH!" The door was opening! Someone was coming in! Who was second?!

Was it Todoroki? Whose Quirk gave everyone the impression he had the greatest advantage? Was it Bakugou who could win with brute force? No. It's not either of them. Not yet.

In came Michiyo. She was first before any of her classmates! She didn't look happy though. In fact, she was heavily sighing as if she had failed to do something. She didn't notice Yoarashi right away because the first thing she noticed coming in were the food on the buffet table. "Wow~ so much food!" Michiyo wondered what she should eat first! There's so much to choose- "OH!" She opened a bamboo steamer and there were lotus seed buns! She lift the container up and underneath it was steamed custard buns! "Wow~." She took one lotus seed bun out and then she took out a steamed custard bun to enjoy. She was about to bite into the lotus seed steam bun but she finally noticed Yoarashi who stood at a whopping 190cm vs her 158cm. He's like a titan when standing next to her. "P-please don't eat me. I have the courage of a chicken nugget."

"You were caught up in the gale! How did you survive?!" Why did Yoarashi remember her out of the 120 something students he attacked? Because her Hero Costume made her look like an idol.

"I turned myself into diamond dust. That's why the balls never got me." She demonstrated this by turning herself into diamond dusts and she moved from the food table to the seats in a matter of seconds.

Yoarashi was amazed! "You, you're strong!"

"...no, I'm not. I'm not strong at all." Michiyo was feeling very frustrated. So frustrated that she ended up crying. "I'm not strong at all...I told myself to steel my heart and knock my own classmates out but I can't even do that...!"

"Eh? You're crying? Holy- you're really crying! W-why? Here, have a hanky. Don't cry." 'I didn't come at her to strong that I made her cry, did I?!' Yoarashi began to recall how Shishikura lectured him about not being dignified and it bothers people. "Are you crying because I am not dignified?" 

"Eh? What does that have to do with anything?" 

"I don't know. I just thought that was the reason." 

Yoarashi sat next to Michiyo, "I'm Yoarashi Inasa. Want to talk about it? What's bothering you so much that you're crying?"

"I'm Sakura Michiyo. Please call me Michiyo. And I didn't knock out my own classmates so I'm sad." 

"No way! U.A. is so competitive that you attack your own classmates to pass?! The betrayal is strong!"

"Yet, I didn't do that. I ended up knocking out two people from different schools instead."

"I don't know why you would do such a thing. I would never do such a thing. In fact, what you planned to do is an asshole move."

"Because they all abandoned my sister. She was supposed to be here to take the test too but she's not here. She's been missing ever since she argued with everyone. Everyone got on as if it's a good thing she's gone...! I hate them. I hate them all. I hate everyone."

"Is that really true? You're all classmates. Don't you all do that 'PLUS ULTRA!' shout?"

"It means nothing at a time like this." She noticed she was about to eat the last custard steamed bun. She looked at him with a tired smile and she gave it to him instead.
