"Tonight's dinner was delicious. Michiyo really knows how to make a good soba." Todoroki was very satisfied with dinner. He liked soba noodles a lot so he's really happy have a good dinner at a friend's place.
"I feel like it went down my stomach and disappeared..." Mineta was holding his stomach while walking home, "It's hard to eat knowing there is a crazy old man trying to find an excuse to hurt you one way or another."
"Ichinose tried to hurt us?" Todoroki never noticed.
"He was trying to kill us! Todoroki, you're so lucky you were not on the receiving end of it!" Kaminari cried, "He won't even let us stay for dessert! How mean! I want to eat dessert with Michiyo!"
Todoroki stopped at a convenience store and he stared at a poster of a kid eating a popsicle.
"Good idea, Todoroki! Let's get ice cream!" Kaminari wondered what kind of ice cream he should get? He wanted to take a picture of it, put it up on his social media account and gather likes.
"What popsicle is that?" Todoroki pointed at the blue popsicle of the poster.
"That's a Gari-gari-kun."
"I never had one. I don't have anyone to share it with."
Forget about social media! Kaminari touched Todoroki by the shoulder, his face looking like he wanted to cry for the other, "Todoroki, let's get a garai-gari-kun to share."
"Okay."
"If one is not enough, you can share one with me too!" Mineta too wanted to cry after what Todoroki said.
"Thank you."
So what was Michiyo doing that night? Ichinose had completely forgotten to pick up a cake he had ordered from a cake shop. The cake shop owner was livid because it's not the first time Ichinose ordered from them and completely forgot to pick it up.
"I'm sick and tired of your old man, Michiyo-chan! Tell him to come and pick it up himself next time! I have a life and I would love to lock up and be with my family too and not wait for his wrinkled ass!" The owner didn't mean to snap at Michiyo but because this was not the first time Ichinose made her late to go home to her family and she did not appreciate that.
"I'm so sorry!" Michiyo had to apologize for the old man, "Father wanted to eat your shop's strawberry shortcakes so he ordered it. I'm sorry he forgot to pick it up..."
"So remember it next time! Tell him to stop wasting my time and stop wasting your time! Seriously! Do you want me to drive you home?" She might be worked up but she was still nice enough to offer Michiyo a ride home.
Michiyo was not at all scared of this aggressive cake lady because she reminded her of Bakugou and she's pretty much used to Bakugou's explosive personality. "It's okay, I will walk home by myself. Next time, I will order for him and pick it up for him." She could have taken the ride home but she chose not to because by the time the cake lady go back home, her children would be asleep and they will miss the chance to see their mother. She wanted her children to see their mother.
"Why are you so nice to him, Michiyo-chan? He's a pervy old man who for some fucking reason get paid listening to people talk about their personal shit." She didn't understand why people bother paying him. She saw it as a scam but other people see it as a short therapy session when they confess their troubles to Ichinose, who was not really a proper priest.
"He's very nice at heart."
"He's a bad influence on you. Make sure you get home safe."
"I will. Thank you for the cake~." And so Michiyo started to make her way home. She sighed because she couldn't believe Ichinose did it again- ordering something and then forget about it. She wondered if old age was catching up to him. "I can't wait to eat cake~." The cake was quite a big cake too so it was a real shame Ichinose told the other three to 'fuck off home' but this meant she will have strawberry shortcake for tomorrow's dessert too!
