Chapter 41 - Fight your way to victory

Midoriya did some warm up stretches before going over to Yuuki. "Yuuki, I'm ready-"

Yuuki was done with her warming up too.

"Eh? Why is Shishida-kun from 1-B on the floor?" Midoriya wondered what happened here prior to him getting here! Shishida Juurota from 1-B was flat on the ground! Passed out too!

"I accidentally gave him a cerebral concussion." Yuuki pointed at the fainted Shishida.

"What do you mean accidentally?! You aimed for his chin!" Tetsutetsu shouted!

"Eh? You kept screaming 'chin!' 'the chin!' though!"

"I meant for Shishida to get you in the chin! Not you get him in the chin! You kneed him in the chin!"

Yuuki tilted her head like a lost puppy, "I didn't knee him in the chin. His chin landed on my knee."

"Tetsutetsu, help me carry Shishida to the side." Kendou was kind of expecting something like this to happen, "Sorry about Shishida. When he's in beast mode, he's very boisterous. Like a beast."

"Eh?! Ah...sorry about Yuuki. She didn't mean to...I think?" Midoriya apologized on behalf of Yuuki. Why were Kendou and Midoriya acting like parents with problematic children?

"Deku, you're here for me, right? Good timing. Shishida gave me the warm up I need to fight you. I'm ready when you are."

Bakugou stopped his training and he decided to watch. He wanted to see Yuuki and Midoriya fight with his own eyes. He didn't even notice Aizawa walked over to stand beside him. That's how focused he was.

'I should be pulling him back and tell him to go back to training but I want him to see with his own eyes that he's not the only one capable of moving forward one step at a time.' Aizawa thought as he joined in to watch the sparring between Yuuki and Midoriya.

Midoriya wanted to see how much he had improved. Ever since he learnt Full Cowling, he always wanted to test this in real time and see how it will hold up against a classmate. Since he never fought Yuuki before, he felt the need he had to do this at least once or he will never move forward. 'One For All: Full Cowling!' The power of One For All was spread across his body evenly.

"You know what, Deku? I was happy when you asked me to spar with you. Because this means you are finally moving forward. I like that~." She activated her Quirk and she already closed the gap between herself and Midoriya! "If you're going to test your strength, you test it on someone who is stronger than you."

'She's fast!' Taking notes on Yuuki was hard because she's so wild and unpredictable when it came to fighting! You never know how she will start off! Yuuki tried to kick him in the face but Midoriya managed to block her in time! When he was skidding backward, Yuuki chased after him on all fours, charging in for an attack! 'She may be unpredictable but Yuuki always go in for the kill like a hunter hunting its prey! It might be hard to predict how she will attack but she will always charge right into the battle and not let the opponent go!' Midoriya and Yuuki exchanged punches and kicks with one another but each time they're both blocking the other and not letting an attack land. At some point, Yuuki's punches and kicks were speeding up and some of her attacks were landing. Still, it wasn't enough to knock Midoriya to the ground.

Midoriya was pressured to stay on the defensive. Yuuki was a beast when it came to close combat! However, he was getting used to her movements little by little. 'She keeps gunning for my face. She's trying to cause a cerebral concussion! She's not doing it by accident!'

Yuuki took a few steps before she leaped into the air to perform a heel drop! Midoriya held his arms up to guard as he wouldn't have time to dodge!

"Heh." Yuuki smirked and she missed Midoriya on purpose! "Ora!" She uppercut him in the solar plexus!
