Chapter 67 - Festival

The many days of practice to perfect their concert was finally over. There were so many trial and error of finding out what worked and what didn't work but they all overcome it together as a class. The music was perfect, the dance was upbeat and made everyone dance along, and it was an overall fun experience for those who came to watch the 1-A concert. Everyone had forgotten to be nervous in front of an audience who came to have fun and the audience who came to watch for the sake of criticizing them.

How do you criticize a class full of people who was having the most fun? Seeing everyone else have fun, naturally, you end up having fun too.

"I wanna go and play!" Yuuki announced loudly before trying to run off. However, she was caught by Bakugou, who told her to clean up before going. "Why can't we just go together?"

"You're not escaping cleaning up! Move your dirty ass now!" 

"Ugh..." Yuuki reluctantly went to clean up the blocks of ice. "Then let's hurry up!" She jumped towards a huge block of ice and she kicked it into smaller pieces so it was easier to carry them and put into a container. 

Michiyo was helping with cleaning up too. She was happy during the slow part of the song, she was able to dance perfectly with Ranfa and made a spectacular show with the diamond flowers. 

"The next batch of ice is here." Michiyo pushed the cart full of ice to Todoroki. She blushed a little when she looked at his face. After he told her how he felt about her, she couldn't look at his face for too long because she will blush.

"Hm?" He wondered why her face was red. 'I think I'll buy her shaved ice later.' He thought to himself. He saw a shaved ice stand when he walked through the festival some days ago. When he saw so many food stands, he wanted to bring Michiyo along and buy a lot of things for her to eat. "Michiyo." 

"Ah! Yes!"

"I didn't say anything yet. Do you want to go to the food stands with me?" 

At the mention of food, her stomach answered for her! "Yes!"

"Okay. We'll go after we cleaned up." 

"Ah." Michiyo just realized what happened! She's going to go around the food stands with him! Alone! With him! "Onee-" 

"Ranfa, what time do you need to go and sing for the bonfire?" 

"An hour before the festival finishes." 

"Let's go around together before that happens." 

Michiyo didn't want to get in the way. She's certain Bakugou and Yuuki will be together too. Then again...the idea of being alone with Todoroki didn't seem too bad. Why was she trying to avoid it? It wasn't like Todoroki was forcing anything upon her. "Shouto." 

"Yes?" 

"...do you think there will be a soba stand?" 

Todoroki smiled a little, "Yakisoba." 

"Hm. Let's get that first when we get there."

...

And when cleaning up was finally done, it was time for everyone to go and enjoy the school festival. They watched the Beauty Pageant together first before doing anything because they heard Kendou from 1-B was made to participate in it and Nejire went there too. 

"Michiyo, I was wondering about it; why didn't you enter?" Todoroki suddenly asked her. 

"Eh? Eh??? Me? Beauty pageant? You think I should have entered?"
