Chapter 69 - Meeting the rest of Shouto's family

Michiyo looked so proud of herself. Why? Because she made Hong Kong style egg tarts with a cookie crust base. She's going to Todoroki's home for dinner tonight. She was thinking on cakes but after she saw Lunch Rush's Macau's Portuguese egg tarts, it made her think about Hong Kong style egg tarts so she decided she will bake them and give it to the Todoroki family as a greeting gift.

"Michiyo, the next batch is incoming." Satou's Quirk needed to make use of sugary treats for his Quirk so he had experience in baking. He's helping Michiyo bake egg tarts too.

Taking out the tarts from the oven, the two of them looked at the egg tarts with eyes shining because of success. Fresh from the oven! The warm scent of freshly baked egg tarts waft through the dorm and it made everyone come to the common room. Michiyo wanted the ones she will take to the Todoroki family to be perfect so she's making a lot at once.

"Michiyo, they all taste good." Todoroki said as he helped himself to a previous batch of egg tart. "It's warm and fluffy."

"You have a cute girl cooking for your sake! You should be happy about it, Todoroki!" Mineta shouted as he bitterly ate egg tarts. However, he couldn't stay angry and jealous for long because the fluffiness and the warmth of freshly baked egg tart that's cooled down for eating was too good. "Dammit...! Dammit all...!"

"Hm? So much footsteps..." Jirou opened the door and it's the students of 1-B! "1-B?!"

"Ah?! Who told you guys to come all the way here, huh-?!" Before Bakugou could spout abusive words to them, Yuuki shoved an egg tart into his mouth.

"I invited them." Michiyo baked a lot. Too much even! So before she go out Todoroki, she wanted to make a good batch of egg tarts that's to her liking.

"Hmph, just letting you know, we're just here to humor you." Monoma said, trying to sound unfriendly and indifferent to Michiyo.

"Monoma, which of these batches are good? This one have more eggs, this one have more sugar, this one has a puff pastry base, and this one have vanilla essence." 

"Y-you're really into it, Michiyo...it's actually impressive." Monoma sweatdropped because she really made a lot. "What are you trying to do? Win a baking contest?" 

Everyone was happy because they get to eat egg tarts of different tastes. On one hand they get to help Michiyo decide on which batch was good and get to eat free snacks. 

"Michiyo will go out and have dinner with Todoroki and his family. She insisted on bringing a gift over and she decided on Hong Kong style egg tarts." Ranfa knew this will embarrass her twin so she said it to create a domino effect and made the 1-B girls coo at her and tease her too. 

"Onee, you already did this!" Michiyo cried as the girls from the other class started bombarding her with lots of questions like if she's dating Todoroki. 

"Your reaction was funny before and is still funny now." Ranfa laughed. 

As for the boys, they were all hitting Todoroki lightly and said he did good because Michiyo's a good girl and the fact she's cute.

Todoroki looked at Michiyo and he smiled upon seeing her blush and try to dodge everyone's questions for her. "Michiyo is kind. It's because she is kind that I want her to be the happiest. I want to protect her from harm. I want to protect her forever."

And when Michiyo finally decided on a batch of egg tarts, she's finally on her way to Todoroki's home. Aizawa will take them there.
