Chapter 57 - Your spear and shield

"I see. Kaminari, Jirou, Ashido, Shouji, and Mineta ended up finding out about Ranfa." Aizawa was contacted by Midnight the moment he could use his phone.

Midnight informed him the students were involved in an incident in which a villain was jealous of the attention the U.A. students got. They were trapped in an imaginary world type of Quirk and when they were sent to the same university hospital as Ranfa, that's how thy accidentally found out about Ranfa's whereabouts. There was nothing the teachers could do to prevent the coincidence from happening. --I told Kaminari-kun to keep quiet. Until we are certain Ranfa will be saved.--

"That's the better decision. Thanks for your work, Midnight. I think it is time to fix things." 

--Already?!-- 

"Yes. I want to save Ranfa as soon as possible."

--Aizawa, what if it doesn't work?-- Midnight was not ruining the hopeful moment but realistically speaking, will it really work? Will letting Kirishima and Ranfa meet fix things?

"If the worst scenario happens, we'll just erase their memories of ever having feelings for one another. That is if it will come to that point." 

--I understand.--

Aizawa ended the call after telling Midnight he will return to school soon and thanking her for helping Ranfa the whole time. Aizawa then went to see Kirishima.

Kirishima had special arrangements for his room. He was in a room with another patient on the other side of his own bed. Who was on the other side? There's a patient curtain around the bed so he couldn't see through it. 

"You're awake, Kirishima." Aizawa said as he walked into the room Kirishima was in. Recovery Girl came in here before so Kirishima looked a lot better than before. He was able to remove the bandages from his face.

"Kirishima-kun, are you okay?" Midoriya was with Aizawa too. 

"Sensei, Midoriya! How are you injuries?! And everyone?!" He looked relieved after Aizawa filled him in of everyone's condition. "I see. That's great. Everyone is safe." 

Midoriya smiled at Kirishima. Suddenly, his eyes shifted to the patient curtain that surrounded the bed on the other side of Kirishima. Midoriya didn't know why but he had a feeling someone was there. Someone was in there sleeping peacefully. His smile slowly dropped when he realized who was here in this very room with Kirishima.

"It's good to know you are well despite your injuries, Kirishima. By the way, you see that bed opposite you?" He pointed at where the hospital curtains covered the other side of Kirishima's bed. "Under no circumstances do you unveil that. Do you hear me? No peeping, no staring, and definitely no touching. Pretend this room is empty. Got it?"

"Eh? May I know why?"

"Because I said so. Do you have a problem with that?"

"No sir!"

"Then, I'll leave you to it. Get well soon, Kirishima." Aizawa left him and Midoriya followed him. 

Midoriya finally said something. "Sensei, inside the curtain..." 

"Yes." 

"You told him all that to pique his curiosity." 

"I did." 

Back in the room, Kirishima was curious. Who was in there? Fat Gum? Tamaki? Wait, why did Aizawa tell him to leave them alone? Why did Aizawa have to be so mean about it? It's not like Kirishima will be a bother to anyone. Kirishima laid back onto the bed and he wondered how Ranfa was doing. He should go see her when he gets back. He checked his phone to see Ranfa did not answer his messages. He decided to send another message to her.
