Chapter 48 - Heights Alliance 1

Yuuki was giggling and snickering every time when Bakugou looked away from her. Every time he glanced at her, her face will look normal again though. 

"Hee...?!" At some point, he grabbed her by her jaw and he squeezed her. 

"What the fuck are you laughing at now?!"

"Your wireless earphones look like the head of an electric toothbrush!"

"We left the house and THIS is what you found amusing?! Fuck! You're annoying!"

"You don't have to be so mean. Also, can I hold your hand like last time?"

"No." 

"Okay." Yuuki held his hand anyway. 

"What the-?! Why is your hand so damn fucking cold?!"

"I bought a frozen bottle of tea from the convenience store. I was holding it for a good while before I put it into the plastic bag." She took the frozen tea bottle out of the bag and showed it to him. It's not opened. 

"What was the point holding it if you weren't going to drink it?!" 

"I thought it'd be funny to make you cold." 

"Are you a child or something?! Idiot!" He's snapping at her and all but he didn't swat her hand away from his own.

"Hee~." She noticed there's some changes between her and Bakugou as of recently. He's still snapping at her and hitting the back of her head like usual but he's been nice to her for the most part like scolding her a little less, giving her food even when she never asked for it, and letting her get away with stupid antics. Most of all, Yuuki liked holding hands with him. His hand's warm. She looked at him and she smiled warmly. 

"What?"

"I like how we're walking together like this. It's not you using a leash on me like when we were little." 

"Do you want to try that?" He was being sarcastic.

"I don't mind it too much but people will frown at you if I do that in my human form. Let me know when you want to use a leash and I'll turn into a honey badger for you." 

He stared at her for a good while before asking if she was stupid; she did not get that he was being sarcastic!

"You ask me that every day, Bakugou~. I can't be stupid if I study from you because that'd make you stupid too."

"DIE!!!" He slapped the back of her head! 

"Owie!" 

"I'm leaving your ass behind!"

"Noo~! Don't leave me behind, Bakugou~!"

She grabbed onto his ankle, letting him drag her. People were watching and staring. 

"I get it already! Get your ass off the floor! You're being a pest!" 

"Please don't shout at me. I like you better when you're not shouting."

"Then stop doing things to make me shout at you, you moron! Wait, where's your school bag?"

"Eh? It's not a school day so I thought we don't need it." 

"IDIOT! WE'RE MOVING TO THE DORMS! YOU WON'T BE COMING BACK HOME UNLESS IT'S THE WEEKEND OR THE HOLIDAYS!" Yuuki stared at him in amazement; His explosive anger was so explosive that even the whole sentence were written in caps.

Bakugou groaned in annoyance and dragged her back home by the hand.

Michiyo was about to leave the church. She promised her guardian she will facetime him often and visit home every Sunday.
