Chapter 29 - The Practical Test Final Part

1-A were not the only ones watching the final practical test. 1-B were watching too because their Homeroom teacher, Vlad, will be commencing the test. Vlad wanted them not to feel down because 1-A's mentioned by the media nearly all the time. He made it an opportunity for 1-B to shine in front of 1-A. While Monoma was in glee about it because he said '1-B's Homeroom teacher gets to put a student of 1-A in their place!', a lot of the students in 1-B thought it will be an overkill for Ranfa because she will be on her own for this test.

"Kirishima, I said to Vlad-sensei if it was okay for me to partner up with Michiyo for the final practical, but he said no! Sorry about that, bro."

"Tetsutetsu...! Your chivalry will not be forgotten! But it's Ranfa, not Michiyo." Kirishima was crying manly tears as he shook Tetsutetsu's hand.

"What is Vlad-sensei thinking? No- more like what are the other teachers thinking making Ranfa do this on her own." Kendou said, clearly in disagreement with this sort of arrangement. She noticed Michiyo looking very worried and so she put a reassuring hand on her shoulder, "It's okay, Michiyo. Your sister will be fine."

"Hm. I hope so too." Michiyo stood there in worry. She looked at Recovery Girl and the old woman was worried too, "I know what Onee's weakness is and why she is alone." When Michiyo said that, Recovery Girl continued.

"Ranfa's Quirk is a Quirk that relies on others. If she's on her own, how will she use her Quirk to make a sword?"

"Unless she decides to make a sword from Vlad-sensei." When Todoroki said that, everyone went silent.

Monoma broke the silence by laughing in a hysterical manner. "Touch Vlad-sensei?! While weaponless?!"

Kendou tapped the back of his neck with a light karate chop, bringing him into a fainted silence. "Sorry about him, but what he said isn't wrong. Trying to make a sword from Vlad-sensei will be hard considering his Quirk make capturing easy." Kendou watched the screen with a confident smile for her Homeroom teacher. 

Ranfa's exam will take place in the Residential Area just like Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, and Michiyo. She already got the point that as Heroes, collateral damage will need to be at minimum level on her part. She's on her own for this exam so she's at an advantage in some way; she could fight all she wanted and she only needed to protect herself. However, at the same time she had the disadvantage of doing all the decision making by herself and she had no one to save her if she's in trouble.

The wall exploded with and out came Vlad. He's here to capture her and make it impossible for her to win this! He activated his Quirk and blood exploded out of his specially made glove!

Ranfa's not exactly weaponless; the swords she make by activating her Quirk will give her a major advantage but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a weapon of her own. She had been carrying the Higanbana sword with her since Yoroi Musha gift it to her instead of keeping it in the safe. She drew her sword and the deep red color shone with a deadly beauty as everyone watching could see 彼岸花 engraved on the side of the blade. "Sword Dance: Cherry Blossom Petals!" Have you ever seen cherry blossom petals flow down a tree? Vlad's blood that exploded out from his specially made glove were all cut up to the size of petals before the blood were fully hardened.

Ranfa chose to run away instead of fighting! She ran pretty fast even without the sword she once made from Iida's Quirk!

"Ranfa-chan is fast!" Uraraka commented, "She chose to run away!"

"That is the correct choice." Iida commented while moving his back and forth, "She must have noticed the difference in physical strength so she chose not to fight."
