The next day started out pretty much the same. Foundation in Education Studies was first. When I walked in I saw Lilly. I sat down next to her. "I meant to ask you something yesterday. This is your second year here, so why are you taking the same education classes as me?" She smiled. "I was originally majoring in music therapy. I decided to switch this year." I nodded. "That makes sense. Music Therapy is really neat too." Lilly nodded. "I really liked it, but I decided that I would rather teach other people to be good musicians. I want to truly inspire people." I smiled. "That's a great reason!" Professor Blair started the lecture soon after. Fortunately he didn't have the stereotypical boring and rambling voice. Even though I thought he was interactive, most people seemed bored. I even caught a few dozing off. I, on the other hand, found it interesting. I had always been more attentive in school than many of my peers. I had Social Contexts and Policies next, so I was with Lilly again. I really liked her and was thinking more about the possibility of her having magic. Something about her made me feel that it was likely. I had Psychology and the Good Life next. Unlike Psychology and the Law, it was more about human emotions. Professor Honey was one of the sweetest women I had ever met. Her name definitely fit her personality. After that was lunch. Jake, Jamie, and I ate at the courtyard again. Jeff kept sneaking glances at Jamie...and glaring at Jake. "That guy seriously needs to chill out," Jake said. He was clearly annoyed. He saw us as sisters just as we saw him as a brother. "I have class with him next period. I will make sure he knows that you guys will never date...and that he is dead if he screws up." I said. Jamie rolled her eyes. "Overprotective younger sister." I smirked. "That too. I meant that you would murder him." Jake grinned too. "So true." Of course, Jeff started asking me for advice during class. "Please don't tell Jamie," he pleaded. "I won't. Seriously though, don't worry about Jake. He is like a brother to us." He smiled. "Good to know." This conversation took place towards the end of class. Jeff started to leave when the bell rang, but I stopped him. "One more thing, Jeff. If you hurt her, you will regret it."

I walked into the orchestra room. I made my way to Jamie, who was talking to Lilly. I smiled at her. "What instrument do you play?" I asked her while lifting up my flute case. "Violin," she replied. She looked at Jamie thoughtfully. "I debated playing trumpet too." Jamie grinned. "Hands down the best instrument." I sighed. "I have to admit that trumpet is pretty awesome. I love screamers." Lilly looked excited. "Right? Too bad screamers aren't used in orchestra." Jamie and I both nodded. Director White then asked everyone to sit down. He gave us music for our first concert. I was thrilled. I had never gotten concert music on the second day of school before. It went really well. All of the flutes were really nice. I felt at home there.
