Chapter 39 ~ Jeff

     I woke up with a yawn and got up for my daily shower. I turned the water on ice cold. I got in and started. The shower was refreshing. I shut the water off and grabbed my towel. I quickly dried myself off and got dressed. My eyes widened when I saw my reflection. My hair was dark blue. My mind raced. How could this have happened? I noticed a piece of paper that had been slid underneath the door. I picked it up and read it.

Jeff, you really should have used your head before you cheated on Jamie. I have tried for years to believe you were a good person. Guess what I also found out yesterday? Turns out you were the only one, other than Dave, that cheated on the Yale entry exams. My real friends gave me proof that you two are the only cheaters. Dave sort of had an excuse, but you are just lazy. That same proof will be copied off and sent to every person in this school at 8 P.M on the he dot. Dave let me into your dorm and agrees that this is necessary

     I looked up and gritted my teeth. I let out a yell in frustration. I was sure to get expelled. I opened my conditioner bottle. Rather than conditioner inside it, there was blue dye. This must have been Ella's. She must have come up with this too. I stormed out of the bathroom and slammed the door. I went to the freezer and took out the moose tracks ice cream. I usually saved for a late night snack, but I needed something to improve the day. I took the lid off and stuck a spoon in. There were several big chunks of chocolate-what I thought was chocolate. To this day, I am not sure what it actually was, but it was disgusting. It wasn't ice cream either. It was something horribly bland. Furious, I started spooning it into the trash can. At the bottom, there was another note. It was laminated.

Jeff, I have to say, this was fun. I never did like you. Jamie deserves much better than an arrogant, bigheaded, asshole like you. As soon as we found out, Ella started plotting. Yes, this was all her idea. I'm sure the blue dye clued you in on that. I really enjoyed making this iced cream. It was regular cream in there. As for the chunks...I think I will keep that to myself.

     I threw the empty ice cream container to the ground in frustration. I put on a baseball cap then went to the food court for breakfast. As soon as I left my dorm, people started glaring at me. I was confused only briefly. There were missing posters all over the place, the closest one right outside of my door. It had my name as "Jeff, the dirtiest cheater ever to live" and a photo of me. Under the descriptions section, it said, "Blue hair, poison green eyes, smile that makes milk curdle." My eyes widened. At the very bottom it said, "Last seen: Kissing a different woman in front of his girlfriend." It tore the poster away. There was a note taped to the wall.

Jeff, I knew all along that you were a horrible person. I tried to warn Jamie, but she didn't listen. Now, I am making you regret what you did to her. I will make your day hellish. I will make you wish that you never even spoke to her in even a slightly annoyed tone. I will make you feel real pain and sorrow unlike the fake emotions you tried on Jamie last night.

Ella

     Everywhere I went, people gave me dirty and disgusted looks. They didn't bother to hide their contempt from me. I was tense as I walked. I was expecting more. Eventually, I decided to go back to my dorm. I switched on the fan then plopped down on my bed and closed my eyes. My eyes quickly opened when I felt something falling on me. There was rainbow colored glitter everywhere. A note floated to the ground and I snatched it.

Jeff, what you did is completely unforgivable. You should have known better than to cheat on someone with so many close friends. You should have known it would come back to bite you in the butt. Anyway, I hope you enjoy vacuuming up the glitter!
