I vigorously shook my head, frozen in fear as my father was standing right in front of me. "No!" I shouted through the tears, "I'm nothing like you!" I laughed, and for a second it felt like nothing had changed at all. All the progress I thought I made had washed away in mere seconds as my father stood before me. "You kept on torturing me, abusing me, you even killed mom, because that's your personality! That's who you are and who you'll always be, a rotten, selfish bastard, I did everything so I could survive! I didn't want to kill anyone, you could see that too, couldn't you? I tried to save them, but in the end, I did what I had to to survive, to finally get away from you!"

He took the chair I'd used before, sitting down in front of me. "You know what it is, darling? Maybe you didn't mean to kill anyone. Take Minho and Jisung, I could see you trying to save them, that's true. But you know what? You did. You did get them killed. You're the reason they're dead. To hell with it, you're the reason for everything here! The reason they got hurt, not only physically, but mentally too. You even managed to get Hyunjin so obsessed with you that he was ready to die so you could have a better life. If that isn't on you, I don't know what else is. So even though you were only trying to survive, in the end, you're at fault for it all."

I kept shaking my head through the tears, trying my hardest not to believe any of it, and yet it was getting through to me. "I never wanted any of this," I cried out. "I just wanted to be free... I never meant to hurt anyone, I swear," the sobs grew louder as I buried my head in my hands. "All they did was help me, and now they're all gone... the only people who ever cared for me like mom did, the ones who made me feel like life was worth something, and now they're gone forever. If only I never joined this stupid game!"

My father smiled at me, trying to pat my head before he saw me flinch as soon as he neared. "What matters most is that you passed the test. You were able to overcome your weaknesses, and even turned off your emotions when it was needed for the final blow, learning to trust nobody but yourself. Everything I've trained you for these years have paid off." Before I could react, he got up, pulling me up as well, away from the door behind me. "Since you have finished, the total sum of 9 billion won is in the room behind you. After that, you're finally free. Just like you've always wanted. But, before you enter that room, there is a little surprise for you there."

My eyes widened, unable to believe it. Could I actually be free after this? The one thing I've wanted all my life, even if it cost me everything else. Even if it didn't feel right, and I didn't deserve it. "Behind this door is something I don't think you would have ever guessed, and something that was very hard to prepare for. Especially the last surprise, which was a surprise even to us thanks to your actions." He walked up to the door, holding onto the handle. "All I need you to know, before you go in, is that this room was completely soundproof, and thus no one outside of this room knows your true intentions. Keep that in mind before you enter."

After a pause, he took his hands off the handle, walking back to the door I first came through. "I think I'll let you go through this one yourself. Take a good minute before you enter, because after this, I'm not responsible for anything that happens in the next room. You're still in a private zone until you walk out of this next and last room of this place. Whatever happens in that room, stays in that room."

I finally started regaining my posture, desperately trying to imagine what he could possibly be hinting towards. With him, anything was possible. Obviously it would be more than just the money, but what else could there possibly be that would keep me from going straight out? I didn't want to remain in this place for any longer than I had to, so what would make him think that whatever was in that next room with my money could come between me and my freedom?

I watched him open the door back to the arena, as I started to think I understood what he meant. "Wait, don't tell me..." I stammered, the tears that finally stopped coming back even more than before. He smiled, though it looked more like a smirk at this point. "So you've realised?" I shook my head, my hand covering my mouth. "You're lying. You have to be, I saw it happen! All of it, even on video!" He laughed again, something I hated now more than ever. "Didn't you learn how vision can be deceiving. After all, you didn't think I could actually do everything in that contract without being arrested, did you?" I gasped, in desperate need to see it for myself. "So they're..." I asked, to confirm before storming into the next room.

"Come on, you didn't think I could actually let anyone die here, did you?"
