Joe stepped into Winston's hospital room with a big smile on his handsome face and a bouquet of roses in his arms. Then the smile slipped gradually away as he saw that the room was empty except for his roommate who sat up in his bed watching his own tv.
Winston's bed was currently stripped of all his bedding and his belongings were gone.

Joe looked at the old man and demanded to know where Winston Arnett was.
The old man shrugged. " Beats me. All I know is Silent Pete over there was writing up a storm to the nurse and doctor. From what the doctor and nurse was saying he wanted to check himself out against medical advice. They let him go. "

Winston was gone? Where? Why did he not text him to pick him up? Was he home?
He dropped the flowers on the bed and pulled out his phone. No texts from Winston. He quickly texted him asking exactly where he was now.
