As the woman began shooting people started to scream and duck for immediate cover or try to run out of the door to the hallway.
L.L. lay on the floor behind his bench with aching ribs from landing. He was whispering comfort to a barking Sadie Dog who was hovering over him.
The ballif pulled out his own gun and pointed it at the woman. He fired once and her body jerked rapidly suddenly before it landed on the floor with the gun sliding out of her hand. Several ballifs ran over to her and others to assist any injured or hurt.
Jeremiah rushed over to the defense table where to his horror he saw Faith trying to stop the blood spurting out of Amanda's chest as she was sprawled on the floor with her eyes wide open and staring right up at him.
" Sweet Jesus," Jeremiah whispered in horror. " Mandy......"
" Someone get some help! ," Nicholas screamed as he held his wife's still body in his arms. " My wife's been shot ! "
Faith, at hearing that, left Amanda with Jeremiah who was now holding his ex wife in his arms and crying. She ran over to her mother and stepfather.
" Oh my God..... Mama ! ," she screamed. " Mama ! "
" Help ! ," she then heard Spencer yell out from the back. She turned around and ran to his side. Her horror grew even more as she saw him holding a still quiet Miracle who seemed so limp.
And as she saw Joy in her seat unconscious and bleeding.
